I don't understand how this relates to topic but it looks as though you need to be educated with Mayweather's career.

Much like the majority of newbies I need to remind you that Mayweather's career didn't start at Light Welterweight nor at Welterweight. Even the fights in these divisions which were the best to make were gone after, you probably weren't around to see the situations surrounding them or just being ignorant. I wouldn't want to educate you completely as GOOGLE should be your best source. Mayweather's attempts were obvious, he wanted the #1 fighters and if you're one of the people who considered Margarito at the time the best at Welterweight who's biggest win was Manuel Gomez then you have issues or just playing stupid like the rest.

Last I remember Mayweather already fought and beat Hatton, the same guy you're praising Pacquiao for fighting. Regarding the Marquez case it was Marquez who asked for the fight and as a tune-up after 2 years off and against the #2 P4P I don't see how this is "cherry picking" unless once again I repeat you're playing the game of being stupid or just straight out hating. Let me remind you that Marquez already announced that he plans to move up ANYWAY for a third fight with Pacquiao and what better way to do it than to challenge the former #1 P4P and the obvious future opponent of Pacquiao?. You're just playing it like the rest of the idiots do, whoever Mayweather fights just pick him to win only to claim you saw it coming and claim he is better off fighting Margarito like the rest of the idiots did for a long time, the same Margarito to had half a dozen losses and was exposed to cheating against smaller opponents. It's okay for Margarito to call out a smaller fighter but Mayweather is a major coward for accepting Marquez' challenge and as a tune-up after 2 years off. It's also okay for a fraud like Margarito to make a career fighting tune-up type of opposition but it's not okay for Mayweather to fight the #2 P4P as a TUNE UP after TWO YEARS off.

You're probably wondering why I bring up Margarito into this, it's the same reason I'm wondering why you brought up Mayweather into it. Both of us know that Mayweather/Pacquiao is a possible fight and the biggest boxing fight that can be made. Whether you want to consider it cherry picking as well is your own ******ed opinion, to the boxing public it's the fight people WANT to see. And no, people would rather see him go in against Pacquiao than Mosley, a guy a he already called out when Mosley was 35 and a guy who has unfinished business with Cotto. Nor do people want to see him fight Cotto who has unfinished business with Margarito.

Once again I remind you just incase you started following the sport 1 year ago, Mayweather already did more than he's supposed to and his recent fights were only final stamps to an already established career. What he's doing now is just adding more to it as his position of being the greatest of this era is in jeopardy with Pacquiao's recent opposition.

You and the likes of you are too ******ed to understand how boxing works anyway. Just letting you know that the jump from WWE/UFC to Boxing takes a lot of understanding, you ought to thank me rather than confirm the satisfaction of being idiotic and pathetic.

Additionally, when DLH won the WBO Super Feather title in 1994, the WBO was about as highly regarded as the IBO or IBA are right now. No one considered them to be a major sanctioning body back them. The "six diviison world champ" label is complete and utter BS.

But guess what with over 10 thousand posts to your name and I've yet to see one that was worth a damn. All you ever seem to do is insult those who disagree with you. :deal

I have seen great fighters for years and Mayweather is not great. He does not have the resume. It does not matter what excuses you can make, if he does not fight great fighters he cannot be great.

Well so is the title situation now. If people are counting titles then Hearns is a 6 division titlist if you count the IBO.
