    Ok fair enuff.

Will you give him props though? I mean c'mon, he is in fact fighting one of the top WW's isn't he? One who's still young, strong, and game. Or will this be another hand picked opponent?

For the reasons I have explained in my analysis, Cotto is indeed an hand-picked opponent. However, he's still a welterweight and possesses welterweight power, so anything could happen.

An argument could be made that Cotto is the better WW than Mosley since he beat him. My response would be maybe, we don't know if Cotto is even the same fighter mentally as he was against Mosley. Stylistically... Mosley, Clottey, or Mayweather are the far more dangerous opponents. There is no comparison. Pacquiao is the favorite in this fight for a reason. He would not be against Mayweather, Clottey, or Mosley.

Here's the thing. Just a year ago if one were to mention this matchup, that person was laughed right out of ESB. This was even the reaction when Pac v Hatton was mentioned. We all know what happened there and as Manny continues his march up the ladder, we are all becoming somewhat desensitized to what Manny's doing here. We've become spoiled and actually expect Pac to beat the likes of Cotto and some actually have the nerve to call him a hand picked opponent when just a year or so ago, this wouldn't have been taken seriously.

It's easy to judge and criticize his camp for taking the Cotto fight while leaving Shane on the sideline but seriously, had they taken the Shane fight, people would have said he's fighting another old and washed up fighter. That he's avoiding the beast in Cotto.

I honestly don't think there's any way you'll give him his due and that's your decision. For me, I'll just sit back and enjoy what's unfolding in front of us rather than nitpicking at every little thing a successful elite professional boxer is doing. That just seems asinine.

How many right hand dominant fighters has Pacquiao faced since moving up in weight? :think

You're too simple-minded, you're out of your league.

You didn't answer the question. How many right hand dominant fighters has Pacquiao faced since getting dropped by B level fighters, or getting outboxed by Morales and JM Marquez. :think

Lot's of hatred built up in the *******s. I wonder if it has anything to do with my analysis being 100% accurate, or perhaps a side-effect of Money Mayweather's domination over JM Marquez... the man Pacquiao struggled with and arguably lost to twice.

    :smoke

Mayweather has an arm-reached of 72, and Marquez 67, and Mayweather's defense made it hard for Marquez's lower reach to connect.

When he fights a REAL WELTERWEIGHT (Mosley) and beats him, then i'll shut my mouth, until then...Floyd is a coward who only fights fighters outside of their best weight class, :hi:.
