Well Breh I thought I was clear on that in the post you replied to, but I'm fine with 50/50 and see it as reasonable. That said during initial negotiations I felt a 14 day cut off for drug testing was reasonable as well, and we saw how that ended. I don't mean that as a shot at anyone, I'm just saying that these cats aren't very reasonable...obviously.

Pac probably said that to get floyd's attention. Floyd must be thinking wow 80/20 then.

When floyd tweet, pac must be thinking **** you with the May 5th you cant have it all your way so lets put it back to 50/50.

Floyd said no, can you not see whos ducking here? :rofl

Not sure what's confusing, Manny said he'd take less in order to make the fight, Floyd said "sweet, let's get it", Manny changes his mind...Obviously this chain of events changes the dynamics of the situation. I think they'll reach an agreement but Floyd's going to get something in return for giving up the "extra" that Manny offered, not that he demanded.

Whats the split do you think Floyd is expecting?

Pac could easily mean 49/51 its still less right? I bet thats not good enough for floyd.

I guess not, you say that you believe Manny lied to get Floyd's attention, but Floyds at fault for not just agreeing to Manny's new idea, even though it's not what Floyd was lead to believe initially?

I have no idea...but I have no doubt we are talking about 1-5% tops, but no clue of exact amount.

    Fair enough.

If this fight turns into 12 round yawn fest it may drive me insane.

Both want to gain advantage obviously and I cant really blame either. Be it the date, purse, or whatever.

50/50 is definately fair to get the fight going. It would be interesting how much floyd want though and anything above a few % is definately ducking.

Again just to be clear I'm good with 50/50 and think it's fair, but it just wasn't what Floyd was lead to believe and in my opinion, he's bargaining to get something in return for the share he's "giving back". On a side note, I bet Arum wants to slap the **** out of Manny...assuming Manny was drugged or restrained obviously, but more of a figurative slap.

Did people forget that Manny not only backtracked about the purse but he also backtracked on his statement about being happy to fight on May 5th and that the cut wasn't the problem.

So changing his mind about the split is no surprise but why the date?

Pacquiao only said lesser purse, he didn't say lesser purse than floyd.
Pacquiao always had the higher purse against other opponents.
This is his first time he has offered this low ever since fighting delahoya.

You people try to get a lawyer to read his statement and you'll find out the evidence is WEAK on it.
