I'm glad he's in this much shape. I remember around the days he fought Margarito (around when he first became senator) he looked bad in my opinion. Not fat but flabby, no muscle, no definition. First Bradley fight was the same story.
Both are going to be in awesome shape come May.

 

Exactly both of these guys are always in great shape. Fitness will be a non factor in this fight.

 

In the past yes, he get soft looking.

But Im thinking the basketball is keeping him trim between fights.
My pathetically limited experience of basketball is that its a great way of keeping your cardio ticking over.

I think Pacquiao needs to stay in the 144 area as well.

He looked so fast, youthful in the Algieri fight. 144 was perfect. The fittest I've seen him in a long time. Freddie was right too when he said Pacquiao's power would come back moving down a bit, and it certainly looked like it after the Algieri fight.

I mean, when's the last time we've seen a seemingly normal straight left hand put someone flat on their back? Mosley? Hatton? Algieri fell asleep in mid-air! Lol!

Either way, I trust Justin Fortune and Roach though in whatever they decide except what they did for Bradley. Pacquiao was in horrible shape for Bradley.

 

I think people are massively over-emphasising the difference between 144 on the scales and 147 on the scales.

Hes still gonna weigh about 150 when he gets in the ring.
