    It's in the dynamics man.
Pac is too fast on his feet and his straight will always beat ODLH's jab and hook.
Thing is, since the likes of ODLH will bank on the left hook, a southpaw like Pac will find it easy to position himself on the outside of ODLH's lead foot to make him out of range of ODLH's left hook.
Those lead lefts that he pummeled ODLH's face with will still be there to push ODLH back. So the jabs shouldn't be much of a problem.

The only chance ODLH has is if he can trap Pac on the ropes consistently.
And we know that a prime Pac will have the chin (and body -- see the Cotto fight) to take ODLH's punches.
I'm not saying it will be a near shut out like what happened, but I will always put my money on Pac when he's going against ODLH.
Of course ODLH may come up with something to counter Pac's in-and-out movement, but I don't see him countering Pac as consistent as JMM or as how FMJ would probably do.
He will probably make it an inside fight, tie Pac up and pummel his body to slow him down in the later rounds. I don't know.
On the other hand, Pac should fight a very well disciplined fight like what he showed us already.

But that's just my 2 cents. Feel free to disagree.

    1. it was barrera that didn't exercise his rematch clause right away.

    2. cotto re-signed with tr probly with the understanding that he would get the pac fight which he did get right away.

cotto and mosley posed the same level of threat at that time....cotto also beat shane, so pac didn't fight the easier fight/fighter.

it also was better, businesswise, for TR to make the pac-cotto than pac-shane.

...if you still think it was a duck, then you're not looking at this objectively or you're not in tune to the business side of boxing.

Almost all of those you mentioned were within two fights? So now if you lose one fight and win your next one, you are still considered coming off a loss? If you want to use that logic, then every fighter fights someone coming off a loss at some point, if not multiple times in their career.
