pacquiao: american broadcasters (8 div. champ), english broadcasters (6 div. champ)

    American boxing broadcasters recognize pacquiao as an 8 division champion however english broadcasters constantly refer pacman as a 6 division champion all the time. whats up with that????:think

    Pacquiao isn't a "legitimate 8 division champion. That's why.

    well he has won world titles in 6 divisions as the ring belts he won at 126 and 140 are not world titles...

    At one point they were more legit than the rest though. Didn't know this though. I don't follow Pac that close. Interesting because I think he would still pretty much dominate 140 even today.

    If only he fought Bradley at 140.


    Anywho, I don't think the guys at SKY count his IBO win at 140 nor his win over Barrera as title wins.

    yu could argue that the Cotto(e) fight was legit

    however the margarito(e) fight can't be justified. one of the most bitchmde and fraudulent fights ever

    english broadcasters are not counting pac's FW and LWW ring/lineal title and not his WW and LMW title for those who doesn't get it.

    I think they were stupid for not having Pac fight Tim at 140, especially with Floyd moving up to 154 against Cotto. They would have established Pac as "clearly the smaller guy".
