why does pac have to fight the likes of guzman, valero and bradley for his last 2 fights if he can have 2 superfights w/ either floyd, cotto, mosley or jmm who are all Elite top 10 p4p fighters?! atsch

when you're an Elite P4P fighter, you should fight guys at or very near your level. with just 2 fights to go, i'm sure pac isn't looking anymore to fight tune-ups or stay-busy fights. it's all superfights for him now.

good stuff, its funny but people who know boxing knows that neither pacman or hatton every beat a top 1-2 in their weight class, while in there prime.. I like pacman, i think roach is overated and its more the fact that he had the better fighter, a week before this fight he was on hbo in the corner of the guy fighting lopez and got stopped, now i am sure he had a master game plan but not the better fighter. Bob arum, well im not going to waste my time with him, the fact he is trying to sell cotto vs pacman will be a bigger more profitable fight than pacman and floyd is a joke. I remember when floyd was with arum then to bob he was the best thing since slice bread, i also remember that floyd offered to fight cotto and arum said no. however he wants us to not remember that. funny when cotto leaves his company in dec. i am sure he will trash him the way he did oscar and floyd lol. The funny thing is everyone says pacman is the best fighter in the world, ok 70% of the people believe floyd will beat him, already with the excuse of size lol, yet oscar, shane are both bigger than floyd in size, funny no one shouted out oscar for fighting a smaller man in floyd, hell oscar was the bigger man and the underdog in the fight!!!!!! no. it just proves that pac is that good. hatton was the top guy @140 for 4 years, undefeated at that weight and was the larger guy. virtually nobody ever expected that pac was capable of KTFOing hatton in less than 2 rounds.

but now that pac actually did it, ppl are now questioning the capabilities of hatton. maybe if pac would've had a harder time w/ hatton, questions like this won't arise. i guess being too good also has its pitfalls.

 

The post isn't even an attack yet 'the pacforce' are on patrol as usual viewing ANYTHING that puts Pac in a slightly bad light as an attack.

8 pounds apart is 2 divisions in those weight classes, thats alot.

Pac's physical peak was at 122lbs. That's his fastest and most powerful weight.

You can argue for weeks and weeks but the truth is that Pac is much smaller than Floyd, and so is JMM

Floyd only just beat Oscar and took 10 rounds to take Hatton apart. Pac DESTROYED both of them. And he's fought against the top contenders all the way while Mayweather has cherrypicked the fights he knew he could with (where were the fights with Cotto, Mosely and Margharito?)

Floyd has had a safe career. Pac's career is of old school golden era stuff, rubber matches, close wars, coming back from his first defeat to Morales and DESTROYING him twice in the rematches. These are achievements. Mayweather had the chance to set the record straight and fight Oscar but retired instead.

Manny is a legend continuingly challenging himself and looking for ways to improve his abilities, he'll fight anyone bigger guys, techincal boxers, sluggers. Mayweather is a cherrypicker who (barring Oscar) only fights smaller guys he knows he can beat, he wasted his talent.
