According to both Hatton and DeLaHoya, they were in the best condition of their lives prior to fighting Pacquiao. According to them, they were stronger, better fighters than when they fought Mayweather. I choose to believe them over you. I think it's very likely that Pac-Man fought better versions of DeLaHoya and Hatton than Mayweather. The fact is Pacquiao is just that much better.
Uliuli, So if Pac goes onto to beat Cotto in November, will it be because Cotto is a shell of man after what Margo did? And say Pac goes onto to meet and beat PBF, will he too be a "past his prime" boxer?
It's a recurring theme for the Pac-haters. Before the fight, they say Pac has no chance. AFTER Pac destroys them, they claim the fighter was shot.
I find it hard to believe any fan of boxing, as we all are here, could hate Pacquiao. He has done a lot to revitalize the sport and steal away some press from UFC. even the fighters I don't like, PBF being one, I don't or won't diminish their skills just because I don't like them.
This website is going to collapse under the colossal weight of all you guys getting fat munching hot steaming bowlfuls of crow every time Pacquiao confounds you. He will do it again vs Cotto, and he will do it again vs Floyd. And what glorious days they shall be for us believers! :good
Truth be told he already put his disclaimer at the end that if the Mayweather of old fights Pacquiao.
Pac is at his peak? Says who? You? If you were to chart his boxing effectiveness and extrapolate forward, I would say it's safe to say that he is still on the way up.
a little history on what a loss can do to confidence. 1. check your floyds. floyd patterson was brutally knocked out by ingmar yohansen. did it ruin patterson? on the contrary floyd knocked yohansen in their rematch. 2. joe louis was undefeated as well until he got knocked by german max shmelling. did it wreck his confidence for the future. no no it didn't. most would agree it made him tougher as joe went on to inihilate max in the rematch with his own knock out. 3. how bout the greatest ali suffered a first loss to frazier in 71 suffering a flooring in the 14th. well it took years before anyone got the better of muhamed after that ali was whipping the topmost talent thru the 70s despite the 71 blemish on the record. you've taken up fmm's argument verbatum. the words of a guy who wants to be recognized as the best. last i checked, you can't accomplish that sort of thing with words. especially not words that don't make sense...once knocked out, never the same? tell that to ingmar and max. but u wish
I agree these days as soon as someone loses its all "oh he's not the same blah blah blah" thats horse****. Its a sport sometimes you lose and sometimes you win. These guys have been fighting since they are kids and they have all been knocked around and bloodied at one point another. In fact alot of fighters have their best achievements come after KO losses.
just like darchinyan.. he got KOed by Nonito, but beating Mijares and Arce in spectacular fashion after that loss.. DLH and Hatton made some convincing win after their loss to Mayweather. They could be racking up another W in their resume but sad to say Pac stops their momentum. Many are saying those fighters whom pac beat were shot and drained and ****, but we should also give props to them.. They gave their all on those fights but they just came short..
