Sorry but Bradley doesn't last 3-5 rounds against Pac. Sure he's a belt holder but if you have been watching Pac's fights, he's been going after bigger boxers. Bradley's career will end right after he gets knocked out. I'm a Bradley fan but to say that Bradley will give Pac trouble in this stage of his career is delusional. Pac will knock him out and end Bradley's career early.

Ugh. Any fight besides the winner of PBF/SSM is, as Arum would put it, "poppycock".

Good reasoning as to why the fight shouldn't happen.:-( How is Pac going after bigger fighters? Valero hasn't even fought at 140 yet.

I have a problem with these opponents.

JMM is not going to be competitive over 135. He's too slow and too old to be moving up in weight. Manny would still beat him at 140.

Margacheato has done nothing to deserve the right to fight Manny. What has he done in boxing since he came back? He has yet to prove to us he can beat some of the best WWs without his plaster. A lot of other boxers deserve a fight with Manny instead of Margacheato. Arum wants Manny to fight Margacheato, so he can keep all the money in house.

Edwin Valero has done nothing to deserve a fight with Manny. He needs to beat better guys and earn his right to fight Manny.

Arum should wait for Floyd to beat Mosley and start negotiation again. Manny is slowing down and I only want him fighting the best because he only wants to fight a few more times.

So you ******s are saying that Pac should have to wait around for mosley/mayweather to fight 2 matches before he can fight mosley. Thats bull****, If I was a fighter I would want to fight, this is just pre-arum posturing. We all know pac would destroy these fighters. I can handle bradley at 140, alexander aint in pacs league yet either. As far as a money maker I can see arum doing a marquez 3 where pac retires him which is unfortunate.

I just don't think Pac should have to wait around for these dumbasses, he should at least try to give the underdogs a shot, see who is hungry enough to take it from him.

All of the 3 fights mentioned, however they are controversial/one-sided, are the most marketable fights for Pac right now. We are not including the May 1 winner here though, which we all know would be the biggest fight.

Arum knows either of the three will sell much, and it is the only way he is seeing the whole scenario. Bradley or Alexander do not have a big, loyal fanbase like JMM or Margarito have, at the same time, they do not have the intriguing, mythical KO power of Valero which can gain a lot of attention against Pacquaio's own power, so from a promoter's POV, not really a good idea.

I don't see any problem with JMM. He would be ready to severe his tie with GBP who pimped him bigtime in his last fight with PBF, just to have another career payday with Pacquaio.

IMO, the fight against either of the three would be a stay-busy fight, while waiting for the May 1 winner to take atleast a rest for a late year megafight showdown.

On a personal note, I don't want the Margarito fight TBH. Too risky for the Pacman. We saw what happened against Clottey, and Margarito is more offensive minded and whose chin is rock-solid. It would have been a career punishing match-up for him.

JMM at 140 or above will never be competitive. His performance against Mayweather, Jr showed he does not belong to any division above 135. A brutal KO is very possible against Pac at this stage in his career.

Valero is a live dog, could be a Hearns-Hagler type of action. Arum should have actually put Valero in his Pac-Clottey undercard. That would have been a masterful move.

Why do people think that Valero is on close to the same level as Pac now. yeah I love valero too as a fighter but come on man. The slugfest would not go 4 rounds.

    Whats up Morrissey?:hi:

Hey, since you think JMM-Pac at 140 lbs is a mismatch, what would you think of a fight between them at 140 lbs with up to the date random blood and urine drug testing to level the playing field???:D

Since most people think this matchup would be a mismatch, would'nt you think the fans would be intrigued to see if Marquez can do a third number on Pac and expose him for the PED user he is????

......on the flip side, this would be Pac's chance to prove he can destroy JMM without the aid of PED's, and do so in more convincing fashion than Mayweather could......

    What do you think Morrissey???:D

The Margarito fight is garbage, the Marquez fight would complete a trilogy but is more or less irrelevant after Mayweather shut Marquez out. The Valero fight would be "fun", but microscopic in comparison to Pacquiao vs. Mayweather/Mosley winner.

I know when I typed those "Pac will KO JMM" phrase you will be up in arms here for JMM.:D

Clearly we have a differing view on whether Pac is using PEDs, so for me, a random blood test is not necessarily needed for their fight. They can fight like before, usual NSAC drug test procedures, and I am sure, JMM won't mind it because he knows Pacquaio is not using any of it.

But on the concept that it will be a chance for Pac to show to the world that he is not on PEDS and yet he can win more convincingly than Mayweather, Jr. I don't think it will help him make a statement at all.

Let's say he does it and wins against JMM, in his next fight, the opponent will again ask for it, and so on. There will be no end to it, and he would just look like an idiot trying to prove he is not on PEDs fight after fight just because a crackhead in Mayweather, Sr started this rumor.

Just imagine Pacquaio doing it against all of his opponents from now on while other p4p boxers like Hopkins, Bradley, Dawson, Bute, Kessler, Ward, Froch are not even doing it. Why the special treatment against him? What do you think of that?

What would be the best solution here is to have the NSAC or any sanctioning boxing body implement this rigid testing and apply it to all of its covered fights, and that is when we can say we are levelling the playing field for all boxers.:good
