I don't care to see a Pac-Margarito fight. Margarito is coming off a knockout loss that would be worse than Clottey IMO.

Valero at 140 would be a decent fight.

I'd rather see Pac-JMM III at 140 or below than Margarito-Pac.

The best fight of course would be Pac vs Mayweather/ Mosley after their match and possible rematch.

Pacquiao would starch Margarito, unless Margarito's chin miraculously kept him up. Margarito's defense is his chin, and Pacquiao would be tagging it all night long. Margarito wouldn't be shelling like Clottey and would be taking flush shots until his chin and legs gave out. This fight wouldn't even be mildly competitive. Pacquiao's too fast and sharp a puncher for the slow, plodding Margarito. Particularly now that Margarito wouldn't even have loaded gloves to break Pacquiao down with (if he would even be able to routinely tag him with those ponderous punches).

Well, with Marquez they get to build up the conclusion to a razor-thin trilogy. With Margarito there's a garbage story-line that wouldn't be interesting. With Valero they could try to fool people using Valero's knockout ratio that he's a threat to Pacquiao. Still, Pacquiao versus Mayweather/Mosley is leagues above all three of these fights put together.

I think economics will be the deciding factor here. In terms of two top boxers at their primes fighting one another, Pac-Valero makes sense, but Valero is not a big draw yet. Pac-Marquez would be a sentimental favorite, but a lot of people would think that Pac would destroy Marquez now. But in terms of making mucho dinero, it would have to be Pac-Margarito.

Are you kidding me? Nobody is going to buy this crap. Unless it's on TV for free, it's just not a fight anyone wants to see. How about we watch him beat up on a janitor or #1 contender? How about we watch him fight Andre Berto? Tim Bradley, ANYBODY. Just not these guys who wont stand a chance and wont even be competitive.

He should fight Bradley. If he beats Bradley it's as impressive as beating Mayweather or Mosley. Bradley is that good. And I think it would sell better than Margarito.

    Nobody wants to see Margarito.

Those are Arum's choices. Pacquiao however has said differently on who he wants to fight.

This is taken from another article on another thread on this forum.

    Talking about Floyd:

    This content is protected
    - Pacquiao

Whataver Arum's planning, ITS NOT GONNA HAPPEN.
