:huhI scored the 2nd fight to JMM 115-112. There is a necessity for a ruber match IMO

  3. Well I need to remind you of two things then:

    1. You have no idea how to score a boxing match.
    2. Your score doesn't count. To find out why, see #1.

The fight that lines Bob Arums pockets the most will be the one that happens

Unless Valero beats any of the top guys at 140, ie Bradley or Alexander, then he has absolutely no business jumping in with Pac at 140+.

JMM is past it, sure some people will want this fight to satisfy their own curiousity thinking JMM gives Pac hell because he is JMM, but the truth of the matter is, north of 130, Pac has the advantage, north of 135, it isnt even competetive. I would compare it to Pac-MAB 2, many people were blaming MAB's first loss on his forest fire, metal plate controversy, bad night etc so they wanted to see if Pac could do it again. After the fight they deny that some people actually wanted that fight. Barrera in the 2nd fight was actually only 3-1 underdog against Pac, to put that into perspective, Shane Mosley is a bigger underdog against Mayweather at 4-1!

Margo does not deserve a payday. The only reason for this fight is for Pac to further enhance his WW standings, he would have beaten Cotto, Clottey, & Margo making him undoubtebly no.2 should PBF beat Shane. This would also make for an exciting fight and we get to see Margo KTFO again.

Bradley or Alexander is the only way to go if PBF/Shane cannot be made due to the rematch clause(should Shane win).

I want him to fight Bradley at 140 next in the summer, before facing the Mosley-Mayweather winner in the autumn. But if the next opponent is going to be one of those three, I'd take Marquez because I believe Pac will knock him out early, thereby topping Floyd's performance vs him and settling the score with Dinamita once and for all.

You should clarify in the first post he wants to fight in the summer. You know that if pac/floyd happens then it will be in the fall so none of these fights will get in the way of that super bout happening.

Frankly I think its good news they are talking about fighting in the summer because that means they want to fight and not mess around with whatever political crap he wanted to quit boxing to pursue.

I really dont like any of those 3 opponents but for different reasons. He wants to fight at 140 and really he will destroy anyone there thats a given. I dont want to see valero because I like him and you know he will get KTFO. Margo doesnt deserve the paycheck. JMM Im not sure about it. As long as morales doesnt fight JMM then I dont care I guess if JMM wants to face pac again but we know what will happen.

Roach has talked some **** about margo too. He doesnt like him at all either. Thats both Pac and Roach that dont want that fight because of his past actions. Its ****ing Arum that wants the fight because all he cares about is the money.

And as has been said Pac wants to fight in the summer at 140 to defend his ring title belt there. The ring were going to vacate it and Pac said hold on I'll fight there in the summer.

"Top Rank's Bob Arum anticipates Pacquiao's ring return in the fall, likely November, regardless of the outcome of the election.

So Arum is already looking ahead and thinking about possible fights for Pacquiao. Obviously, Pacquiao against the winner of the May 1 Shane Mosley-Floyd Mayweather Jr. fight makes the most sense and is the most lucrative, by far. But Arum was quick to point out that if Mosley wins, it's an unlikely fight because Mayweather has a rematch clause in the contract."

Pacquiao's next fight will probably be in November. If an agreement with Floyd can't be reached, they will look at one of those other 3 guys. Valero is the most likely choice of the 3, followed by Marquez, and then Margorito.

Floyd/Mosley winner or Bradley at 140.... The other fights aren't too meaningful.

    No, no and no.

I agree though that this is just posturing. I think the PBF-Pac will eventually get made late this year.

Although Pac can squeeze in a 140 fight before that to defend his ring title and it should be Bradley. Any fight at 135 is out of the question, at least until he fights PBF.

Don't worry...Floyd will beat Mosely with room to spare. Then, if Floyd or Manny fight anyone but each other, they should both be shunned for life.

Have you ever heard of two fighters named Timothy Bradley and Devon Alexander? :-(

Margarito-Pac wouldn't be that bad. It would be an action fight. It gives Margo the ultimate shot at redemption and I wouldn't mind watching at all.

Pac-Valero, has a chance of being a fight on the level of Hearns-Hagler. I would prefer Valero destroy Peterson and then a top JWW like LAexander or Bradley before challenging Pac though.
