I guess Margo's size, power, and come forward ring generalship might make it interesting as he did with Cotto. I'll be rooting for Pac, so if your prediction of how the fight plays out is right, then I'm all for this fight even more. I have a hunch, and it's only a hunch, that Margarito is the favorite to fight Pacquiao next, if a FMJ or Mosley fight can't come through.

Valero or Marquez will be a big fight for Pac. But thinking about his retirement it's a big disappointment if Pac/Mosely/Floyd will not happen.

i wonder how people would react seeing pac against marquez at 147 considering all the crap on here when floyd chose to fight marquez at 147.

    easy fights for Pac,
he takes on Margarito(with no bricks)in 9 rds,JMM above 140 cant match Pac, and Valero :will be painful to watch all the punishment before he gets KO in 3 rds.

I see Bradely's fighting at 147 in his next fight and Alexander maybe against Judah, but who's Valero fighting next? Valero and Marquez in Dallas, San Antonio, or Mexico would seem like a mega fight in it's own right. The winner could face Bradely/Alexander in Septmeber with the winner to face Pac in December.

Why would you want to see him in an easy fight though? He's had enough of those early in his career. Wouldn't you want him to enhance his legacy by beating elite fighters or guys who have a lot of skills? Where's the fun in competition when it's highly predictable?

To everyone asking why Mayweather and all the other Welterweight's are not on the list, I suggest you read the article, but I will explain it to you here.

Pacquiao said he want's to fight his next match at 140 so he can keep his Ring Championship, it's not not going to be at 147 or 154 but at 140.

Mayweather, Mosley and PW are not going to drop down to 140 to fight Pacquiao.

That being said, I don't know why Margarito is being considered for a fight at 140.

The Marquez fight won't happen if Golden Boy stays in Lockstep with Mayweather over testing.

The Margarito and Valero fights are horse****, Valero has never fought north of 135 before and it would be his first fight at 140 in a division brimming with talent that could actually give Pacquiao problems(Bradley is the biggest threat outside of the winner of Mayweather-Mosley south of 154). And Margarito fits the typical made to order opponent, a big slow fighter.

So all in all unless Pacquiao grows up and takes the blood test or fights Bradley, he might as well retire.

That's good news to me. I want him to stay at 140 where he truly belongs. I do want him to fight Mayweather at 147 but not Mosley. Mosley would be too big. It's like getting a rematch with Clottey, but Clottey adds offensive skills and more power. Don't think Pac stands a chance against Mosley. Paul Williams? WTF? They have no business being in the same ring. Pac would need Michael Jordan's vertical leap to land a head shot on Williams.

Just make the Valero fight, please. Or best case scenario...Marquez III.

Pac's people are avoiding Bradley and I can't respect that. Arum is gonna continue to give us more of his pointless stable fights because a lot of people bought Pac-Clottey. They must think the fans are idiots.

LMAO! Are you floyd mayweather himself?
Floyd only fights at WW currently, and if all roads LEAD TO HIM why the hell is there other divisions in boxing? Stupid people are like parrots...Repeat what Floyd's dumbass said without even thinking about what he said.
Maybe he will jump from a cliff, and then......

any fight other than the mosley-mayweather winner will be a huge letdown.

margarito:im a tony fan but should he really come back & walk straight into a superfight?

valero:it'd an awesome fight but ultimately valero is still unproven.

marquez:the fact that they'd make jmm go upto 147(which they would) is ****ing disgraceful
