let me try my best to explain....in their last two fights(ill go with last two since floyd has fought twice since "coming out of retirement" with the intent on getting a pac fight)...pac/cotto did a 1.25 while floyd jmm did 1 mil.....so pac is up .25 right there

they go to the table and try to make a fight between themselves(well floyd tried...and arum and the top ranks guys made a mockery of it and sabotaged it...but thats for a different time lol).....so both teams walked away from the table to go in seperate directions....they both had a chance to make statements....both teams had a chance to gather more chips to go to the table with a second time around

so pac fights a non threat...no name....does the whole dallas spectacle thing...which was pretty cool...but the fight does 700k(do i think floyd would do 700k with clottey? nope probably not...but floyd will never fight josh clottey so thats irrelevant)

meanwhile mr floyd tells richard schaeffer "get me shane mosley"....major power move....whether or not they did indeed give berto step aside money well probably never know...but it was a major power move...taking on his biggest threat....a guy the fans said hed never fight...the welter champ.....pac fans came in their draws when shane rocked floyd and they thought he was going down....then floyd beat the crap out of shane and did 1.5....now try to remember when shane had berto scheduled...and the names of floyds opponents were being thrown around "nate campbell, paulie, cintron"....the fans were up in arms....and im pretty sure arum thought "the fans love us....we can take on clottey in dallas and whos floyd gonna fight?...if floyd fights one of the guys everybody will turn their backs on him and well come out smelling like fresh cut roses"....but it backfired a bit on him

thats a swing of almost +.75 in floyds favor as far as units sold in the last two...to be honest....i dont mind pac taking on clottey....the cotto fight was tough on him even though he dominated....he coulda used a break....but in this business...one false move or step can hurt you....and i think it hurt pac at the bargaining table

What is it with the endless amount of threads being created by Mayweather fans trying to justify the way he keeps changing the negotiations? It really is looking more obvious that Mayweather doesn't fancy the fight. I mean in the initial negotiations Mayweather repetedly siad "who doesn't want to take a $40m drug test". Now Pacquiao has agreed to the initial terms and Mayweather suddenly wants more money. At the end of the day we all know who's fault it will be if the fight doesn't happen. Even though a selected few wont admit it.

It's not "all of a sudden"..it's after a fight where ONCE again proved Mayweather was the BIGGER draw.

Pac had his chance at 50/50, but he was scared of needles.

    New negotiations, new rules.

Mayweather is the draw...Plain and simple.

Both Pac and Mayweather are Primadonna bitches...But Mayweather has more of a right ot be than Pac for now.

HAHAHA!!! PBF had no other option BUT to fight Mosley because he would had looked like a ***** if he didnt so GTFO with that man....

    I say 50/50!

How many people would go to a stadium in Michigan to see PBF vs Joshua? Nobody ever responds to that....:huh

Sorry Rangersfan but the initial terms were RANDOM DRUG Testing up until the fight. As negotiations progressed it changed.

So now I ask you, Are you sure Pacquiao agreed to the initial terms.:hey

Because it's irrelevant. Grown folks speak about HARD FACTS when it comes to BUSINESS. :patsch

Imagine Arum trying to justify 50/50 at the negotiations saying:

Quick question for everyone. How many financial landmarks have Pacquiao set or broken. I am aware of 2 for PBF:

    1) 2.4 mill PPV buys with oscar
    2) 11 mill gate with Mosley(A non selling fighter according to roach) he surpassed Mike tyson and is now in tenth place.

More people buy a Mayweather PPV to see him hopefully lose than win. Even tho his skills are out of this world...I think this is the truth.

More people buy a Pacquiao fight to see his "exciting" style than lose.
There is no denying this fact

I think now, more folks want to see Pacquiao beat the odds (Weight, Height, Arm Length, Defense) over Mayweather's impressive record staying unblemished.

    gtfo?

read my last post in this thread...i said floyd would have been crucified had he fought a campbell, cintron, or paulie.....but it doesnt matter...he said get me mosley...and next thing you know berto is backing out(spare me the earthquake excuse...pierre garcon of the colts was from haiti too....he didnt stop playing during the playoffs).....floyd made the move...and then he slapped shane around...the guy roach didnt wanna fight

I pray to God that someday this fight takes place so people at ESB can find some other petty B.S. to argue about.

why is floyd ducking a 50 million dollar pay day ? His biggest eva ??

Doesnt matter anyway, tests. 60-40 , even if pac agreed they would find something else that much is obvious at thsi stage they dont want the fight
