What do you expect from MW?

Apparently you can cut off the ring when the fighter is moving backwards but going 45 degrees to the left or right of your opponent. Probably they never studied geometry. The only way you can catch up with a fighter who is blatantly running backwards (not sides or lateral movement but actually 2-3 step backwards) is when he touches the ropes.

In a way, Mosley is actually controlling distance- as much distance allowed. Pac takes one step forward, Mosley takes 2 steps backwards. That my friend is controlling distance.

True. At 6:48 of the video Marquez lunges forward and Pacquiao floors him.

It usually does when pejevan and mcnama show up. They know nothing about boxing strategy or tactics or how to read fights.

FLoyd also throws his lead right and pivots in in order to get inside as well. I've used this move a few times in sparring as well as the duck and step in

Enlighten us again on your boxing genius!!!!

I still do not get the part where Mayweather is the best pressure fighter today!!!! I am sure all the *****s are in agreement with your statement. Afterall, the *****s have the exclusive domain of boxing knowledge.

Armstrong was a swarmer who moved up several weight classes, and remained a swarmer.

YOu clearly dont know wht the **** you are talking about.

The vast majority of swarmers are smaller men. As Leon explained. If they werent smaller men, they wouldnt be swarmers. :patsch

As you can see in most of the video, Mosley is merely maintaining distance, he isnt running. Only in the last 2-3 rounds does he really start getting on his bike.

Look how Mayweather was able to pin Mosley against the ropes, and look how Pacquiao wasnt. That is the different between a complete fighter, and Pacquiao. :good

If its hard to understand, its all right, some people werent built to understand athletics. :thumbsup

yeah it is a big assumption, but Floyd is capable of a higher KO percentage. Ever since he's had his hand problems, he's been more careful about what he throws and then he has his safety first style. Floyd won his 13 of his first 15 fights by KO when he was with the more offensive minded Roger as his trainer and then Floyd Sr. came out of jail and his next 2 fights go to decision and he moves around and was a lot more defensive in those fights.

Now what you see is a mix of the offensive (Roger) and defensive (Floyd Sr.) styles

Both guys have noticeably slowed down in the last few years. I'm curious to see how fast Floyd looks against ortiz. I have a hunch he's slowed down dramatically. He's 35 now I think.
