They'll probably agree on 17-19 days for the cutoff period.

    I agree, 50/50 is fair.

If Pac agrees to the tests and PBF demands more or the purse, it will be a duck on mayweather's part, pure and simple IMO

Is this really true or is this what Schaffer just said?

I still think the oscar v mayweather promotion was way bigger than this. It was definitely more hyped. I can remember nearly every news station, magazine reporting on the fight. How many interviews did floyd do for the mosley fight? He did tons for the oscar fight.:think

    Yeah, it's true.

They spent more money promoting this fight than any fight ever.

I think the most damage to the fight was from the critics all giving shane no chance. And many casual fans are so pissed of pac/may 1st failure that they don't want to watch them fight other people.

What? It's on ESPN today that it's a little more than 1.1

I don't want the number to be that low, that ****ing sucks for boxing(as I actually like the whole sport)

I think its got to the stage where people will only believe this fight is hapening when the contracts are actually signed, people nearly expect that something somewhere will go wrong in negotiations.

That may not happen the second time around, though, depending on how the pay-per-view numbers shake out from their other bouts. Pacquiao-Clottey generated about 700,000 buys while Mayweather-Mosley is expected to be over 1.1 million.

50/50 is a fair split IMO. Both fighters have proven themselves over the years, and both have switched positions as the sports #1 P4P. Even though I am a Mayweather fan, a 60/40 split for Mayweather even though Pac is #1 p4p makes NO SENSE to me, but then again that's just my opinion.

Let's be honest here, either way the split goes Pac will make more money in this fight then his last 3 fights combined, so I don't really think he can complain about it.
