Exactly he was too wreckless back in those days because he didn't know any better but there is no way you can deny his undeniable talent. Basically what you have is a 19 year old kid who hasn't even tapped into 50% of his potential taking on a WBC and Lineal champion in his prime who is VERY well rounded.

Pac basically wore him down and knocked him out kind of like what Margo did to Cotto. You cannot take away a win from someone just cause he was getting outboxed. Even Sugar Ray Leonard was getting outboxed by Hearns when he knocked him out in fact there are millions of examples.

If Pac had not knocked out Sasakul in the 8th, it would have happened in the 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th. Thats why world title fights are 12 rounds. Outboxing a guy for 5 or 6 rounds is NOT ENOUGH to make you the better fighter.

BTW I acknowledge Pac loss to Morales even though I understand that Pac was moving up in weight and cut by a headbutt in the 5th. That doesn't mean that Morales didn't put on an ATG performance to get that W. But at the end of the day I also acknowledge that Pacquiao showed he was the better man by knocking Morales out twice after that. Even if you say Morales was past his best, Pacquiao had his reasons in the first fight and Morales has his reasons in the 2nd and 3rd but the bottom line is that Pacquiao won 2 fights more convincingly than Morales won 1. You cannot use excuses to justify Morales' losses and then just throw aside excuses that justify Pacquiao's loss.

It's a given that Pac was a one-dimensional boxer back then; he basically didn't have a right hand back then. What is amazing is the massive improvement to his skills from the David Diaz fight onwards.

He really is a completely different fighter today then the one that blitzed MAB the first time.... its insane the improvements hes made on various things, usually you just dont see that, a fighter get technically better as they progress. Usually they get a bit worse... But that just shows his dedication, hard work, and roach's training. And now even his defence is quite underrated.... his countering is good as well, just a pretty well rounded fighter now. Props to Pac.

His first KO loss happened when he was 17. That was mostly down to inexperience, he went in recklessly, wide open and got hit flush with a very big shot he couldn't recover from.

But you have to think being weight drained had something to do with it also. After his second KO loss (which was caused by a low blow), he skipped 2 divisions to fight at 122. He's only suffered a couple of flash knockdowns since, which he was able to recover from and went on to stop both opponents.

    At 16 years old.....

    Mayweather 106
    Pacquiao 106

    At 20 years old

    Mayweather 130 lbs
    Pacquiao 112 lbs

    At 23 years old

    Mayweather 130 lbs
    Pacquiao 120 lbs

    At 26 years old

    Mayweather 135 lbs
    Pacquiao 126 lbs

    At 28 years old

    Mayweather 140 lbs
    Pacquiao 130 lbs

    At 29 years old

    Mayweather 147 lbs
    Pacquiao 140 lbs

    At 30 years old

    Mayweather 147 lbs
    Pacquiao 147 lbs

You look at the facts and you see that Pacquiao throughout his 20's is fighting 10+ lbs lighter than Mayweather.

The facts point to Mayweather being at least about 10 lbs naturally heavier than is Pacquiao.

The astonishing thing about Pacquiao's weight jumps is that in a span of less than a year, he goes from fighting
JMM at 130 lbs, to fighting DLH at the Welterweight limit.
That fighting in 4 weight divisions in less than a year.....thats the troubling part for anyone that wants to argue that Pacquiao is'nt a PED user to get around.

Never throughout Mayweather's career does he even come close to making the sudden weight jumps that Pacquiao has made through his career...........that indeed does'nt smell right in regards to Pacquiao and the suspiciouns against him.

Yeah thats all well and good till you look at fight night weigh ins. Where you see he's put on less then 10 lbs in that span, something easily achieveable. Considering he couldn't eat or drink after blood test for the Morales fight its obvious he was cutting a lot of weight. Now we know he's not cutting all this weight so official weigh in he weighs more even though he hasn't put on much muscle mass at all.

Pacquiao also was'nt juicing back then either.......its alot easier to show off and flash skills when you're physical condition and ability to get off more often during a fight has improved.

Victor Conte who headed Balco and knows a thing or two about PED's said that its alot easier and faster getting in peak physical shape with the use of PED's.....and fighters who have used them have found that because of this fact fighters have more time and energy to now work more on the skill part of their game when otherwise they would have to spend the energy that they had without using PED's on the physical part of their training.

If you can understand graphs, here's Pac's weigh-in weights and fight night weights since November 2006, which was Pacquiao-Morales 3. During the off season when not in training, Pac says he weighs around 153 lbs.

Let's break down the graph, shall we? Seems to me like Pac was weightdraining himself too much, not roiding up as Mayweathers claim.

    11/18/2006
Pac-Morales 3: Manny at weigh-in 129, then steps in the ring rehydrated at 144.

    10/06/2007
    Pac-Barrera 2: Manny 130 at weigh-in, fully hydrated in the ring @ 144.

    06/15/2008
Pac-Marquez 2: Manny says he struggles to make 130, climbs ring @ 145.

    06/28/2008
    Pac-Diaz: Pac weighs-in 135, fights @ 147.

    12/06/2008:
Pac- De La Hoya: Pac weighs in 142, fights @ 148

    05/02/2009:
Pac-Hatton: Pac weighs in 138, fights at 148

    11/14/2009:
Pac-Cotto: Pac weighs in 144, fights at 148?

So in 3 years time between Morales 3 and Cotto, Pac has fought in the ring as low as 144 and as high as 148.
