because at age 16, Mayweather is already a well-trained, well nourished fighter and being geared for one of the best amateur olympic programs in the worlds. on the other hand, Pacquiao at that age wasn't even eating properly. he was working as a donut vendor, a construction worker and when he has spare time he trains for club fights. and for him to manage to beat a lineal champ within three years is amazing

he just couldn't accept that a severely weight drained pacquiao, almost a weight drained as DLH was giving Marquez a life and death battle at 130 lbs lol.

Throughout boxing history, there have been exceptional fighters, and exceptional elite fighters who have started their careers as teenagers and moved up the scale dramatically over time. Is it exceptional? Absolutely. But Manny Pacquiao is exceptional. But it’s not unprecedented.

It’s not like there is some mysterious force that is completely unexplainable in a natural way. And I could cite half a dozen guys, particularly going back to Ted ‘Kid’ Lewis, who weighed 114-to-116 when he started as a teenager, and who weighed 166 near the end of his career when he was fighting the top light heavyweights in the world.

Mickey Walker, who was a welterweight, actually fought to a draw with a future heavyweight champion. There was Henry Armstrong, who started at 120 and wound up fighting middleweights. In the more modern era, there is Roberto Duran, who started as a teen-aged bantamweight and went all the way up to middleweight as a title-holder.

There’s Alexis Arguello. Every one of these guys was an extraordinary fighter. I don’t know that they knew about steroids in their days. Nobody ever accused those guys of being drugged up. So, to me, it’s not without precedent. Oscar De La Hoya once fought at 128, and then, he fought two middleweights in the high 150s.

    Wrong!
An athlete of that stature has the responsibilty to share that he's fighting clean when the opportunity presents itself to do so.......

I see nothing wrong of course with Pacquiao taking and passing past tests.....I certainly would'nt expect it to come from him to say, "listen, I want to prove I'm a clean fighter, I'm going to submit to more stringent tests."..........
....all he could do at that point is pass the doping tests that were administered, even though any fighter who knows anything knew the tests were a joke.....

.......so you here whispers around the boxing world, "Pacquiao must be on something."......
Probably does'nt make Pacquiao feel good that he is'nt being given due respect with such rumors.....

......then the Golden opportunity to shut up the naysayers.....WOW A GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY TO PASS LEGIT TESTS......

    Pacquiao says, "No thankyou!!!:patsch:-(

An athlete when given the opportunity to prove himself should take it, especially when it comes in a sport like boxing where its one on one combat.
No question about it, Pacquiao missed his chance.
......and I'd have done exactly the same Pacquiao has done if I was a PED user!
    Absolutely!!!:deal:deal:deal

Believe it my friend, that black cloud of refusal will follow Pacquiao to his grave.......no doubt about it!

Very few fighters dominate pass two weight classes, much less the weight classes dominated by Pacquiao.......

Duran for example was only a dominant lightweight......he would'nt crack the top 20 in any other weight class he ever fought in......

Arguello won his first championship at 126 lbs and his last world title only 9 lbs above that limit.

Its easier in these times to go across weight divisions, as there are so many title to go around.....DLH for example looked dominant from 135 lbs-147 lbs, as span of 12 lbs.......

.....above those weights, all the fighters I mentioned here lost something, speed, quickness, power, stamina......

When you try to jump so many weight classes, it takes alot more energy out of you to wear down a bigger man.
....and almost always, a fighter has to work harder and harder for victory with each weight climb even against fighters that are just contenders and not champions.

......this has not been the case with Pacquiao, and he's spanned his championship run from, 112-147 lbs, a span of 9 freakin weight divisions.......do the math and Pacquiao who first won a title as a flyweight, has gone up 35 lbs and 9 weight divisions.

Going up that much weight and still being able to dominate at the same level where you first started your championship campaign has been done by fighters who have started above the welterweight limit.....
.....but for the little guys, its so much harder gain that much weight and still be as effective as where you first started.

35 freaking lbs and still dominating bigger fighters and lookiing better than ever......who the hell has ever done that??????

Of fighters starting their careers below the Welterweight limit,
Duran spanned 135-147 lbs of dominance, 12 lbs between those divisions.

Arguello 126 lbs to 135 lbs, 9 lbs of between those divisions.

DLH did not fight the best fighters pass 147 lbs, so his run of dominance ended at 147 lbs......
He dominated at 135-147 lbs, 12 lbs between those divsions.

Mayweather, 130-147 lbs, 17 lbs between those divisions.

......and all the fighters I just listed were less dominant with each weight division they passed......they lost quickness, speed, power, endurance, and in every case even their workrate diminished the higher in weight they climbed.......
All things that Pacquiao with his abuse of PED's is not experiencing.

I'm am not going to be politically correct on the matter and wait for proof Pacquiao is'nt willing to give......
....the freak has surpassed 9 weight divisions and 35 lbs and still remained just as dominant as his first weight division.

Tell me what little man has had anywhere close to that type or run?????????

......but no, Pacquiao should'nt be subjected to anymore testing than the joke system that currently exists in boxing would require?

Wake up people.....wake up to the facts, and wake up to the reality that we're living in an era where athletes are using these doping methods to better themselves physically!
