pac just simpy improved his skills and defence along the way, that's why he's still dominant up to now. plus his speed (though he's not as fast as he was in the lower weights) and power/strength (stronger now due to added mass).

I will point out another little fact for you. once philippino',s move to a western country they usually go up two divisions. The reasons being it isn't as hot and the better food.

Pac is as guilty as all the others who has yet to go thru the procedure.

Where's the proof? thought so...baseless accusations brought up by envy.

Good to see Divac completely ignoring the actual base premise of the thread and just spouting the same old shower of **** regardless. Admirable.

Lance armstrong took every test he had to by his regulatory body and still the grubby french magazines claimed he was a cheat. Floyd and Floyd just couldn,t stand the fact that someone else was getting all the press. Just remember SR behaviour before the fight where he trained Hatton ,JR is a grub just like his father . Sr was running around claiming to be the greatest trainer of all time but he got showed up as a fool by freddy roach.

d, I really cant blame the Pinoys for their defense of Pacquiao in the past testing controversy.......but were'nt you one of the few Pacfans who voiced their dissapointment of Pacquiao for not going through with those tests???

You miss one important point with Duran .The fights he trained for he did great but others he was coming down from 30 to 40 pounds overweight. He got the weight off any way he could hence the stomach cramps in no mas.

The French mostly, who hate Americans are those responsible for the claims of Armstrong being a cheat.

Can you imagine the lynching of Armstrong had Armstrong protested being tested???:lol::lol:

Armstrong has passed every test, and more stringent than the tests that were proposed by Mayweather.

As long as Armstrong continues to pass those tests, he will not have a black cloud like the one Pacquiao will have hanging over him when he retires!:deal:deal:deal:yep

:nonoHis best fights past 147 lbs, Duran was nowhere near as effective in those weight classes that he was at 135 lbs.
I'm giving Duran the credit at 147 lbs for beating Leonard........I said he dominance was from 135 lbs to 147 lbs, but not past that.
......and also note that Duran was'nt knockiing out anyone at Welterweight in the fashion he was at 135 lbs.

I think every Pinoy should be dissapointed that they have to hear in forums like this and take what posters like myself dish out......

I got no problem with the Pinoy's standing by their countrymen.......I understand that its a matter of pride, but I wish more would post what I know they really feel, their dissapointment of Pacquiao not submitting to those tests.
I know there has got to be alot of Pinoy's out there dissapointed in Pacquiao for his actions.

Come clean d, and tell me what I know you really are, disspointed in the way team Pacquiao handled this whole situation with all their inconsistencies about the window of days they were willing to stand to test by???

As for Cotto-Pac, I picked Cotto, but not without stating Pacquiao had more than a legit chance of using his speed and quickness to fight an in and out type of fight and make Cotto chase.........
In fact, at first my stance in this forum was that it was'nt an easy fight to disect and analyze, and that it was really a pickem fight.......

......but never ever did I imagine that Pacquiao would lock head to head horns with Cotto and get the best of it.

I certainly could have imagined something similar to what transpired with Pac vs David Diaz, where Pac used alot of lateral movement to avoid Diaz' advances.....

.....but thats not what happend. Pacquiao locked horns with Cotto, and the effects on Cotto were as if Pacquiao was the naturally bigger fighter, and Cotto was the fighter who just 2 years ago had been a featheweight.

Just unbelievable d, which is why I feel Pacquiao owed it to every boxing fan to go through with those tests.

You have never seen me disrespect Pacquiao in the way that I am now. I had no right too given that Pacquiao could only do what was asked of him as far as doping tests.......
I've had my battles with *******s in regards to the Marquez fights, but I've never before had the reason to disrespect Pacquiao the fighter.
.....but when he refused a chance to legitly test and the weak excuses that came along with it.......I'm sorry my friend, but I must express what I really feel of this situation, and I would hope that I would have done the same had it been JMM who was in the situation that Pac is in now.
At the very least, I would have been extremely dissapointed in Marquez had this been happening to him.

Pacquiao can fight at ww it's do-able. Cotto and Hugton are not big Welters. Hagler,Leonard and Hearns were.Duran was an obvious disadvantage in that div with those fighters. You can't compare that fav 4 era to now.Why for common sense sake compare Hatton and Cotto with those legends?

Cotto was on his ass a couple of times at 140 he stands only 5'7 with shoes.

Hatton has looked shaky at times keep in the lazcano and callazo fight.

I think people have overrated Cotto and Hatton and understimated what the Gensan Typhoon can really do when he doesn't have to cut much
    weight. :bbb
