Pacquiao wants to pretend he was a champ at 154, he should have the balls to fight guys in that division.

It doesn't make sense at all to me, other than the money involved. However, Pacquiao should make up his mind-is he too small for 154 and 147 or is he too big too face Marquez below 144?

pac already made his mind up, he vacated the belt from the margo fight.

highest fight night weight is only 148, he weighed in at 143 with a full breakfast against JMM. fighting sergio at middleweight is just not realistic and fighting him at 150 where he would still be too small and would again criticized is also not realistic.

Pac-Sergio is just not happening anytime soon.

 

marquez was even bigger than pacquiao on fight night. and marquez fought for pacquiao's title at a catchweight.

 

Pacquiao has no obligation to fight Martinez at all, but this is just more bull**** from Roach who's spouting off only because he knows he doesn't have to worry about Arum putting any of his guys in with Martinez (see also my one of my favorites in this series: "Chavez Jr. makes easy work of Martinez!"). Quite frankly the only thing that does open the door to "ducking" talk in this particular situation is Roach's mouth, as he was also the one who first said that a 150 pound catchweight wouldn't be any problem at all.

 

Why did you think Pac instantly gave up his 154 belt? He's not hitting maximum weight during weigh in. Weight classes are there for a purpose, Pac did it once with good ol plaster hands for a bogus title at 150 cheers for him in doing that or **** him for doing that but there is a limit to things.

Haters, Just because there is no one left apart from Mayweather for Pac to fight at WW isn't enough reason to push him up and fight the bigger guys. He is a former featherweight ffs.
