As many have ask (yet get very few real replies), name them. :deal I'll help you with though: Go with one of the best little guys, Mark Too Sharp Johnson. True, they were both near the same divisions in the late 90's. But Too Sharp was the A side, the guy on HBO. Pas was a guy probably he never even heard of. And unless one of the mandatory for the other, expecting them to have fought is just foolish. Sure, it would have been cool. But that's not really a fault of either. Just how it goes sometimes. And Joan Guzman. When Guzman was at 122, neither he nor Pac were known. Guys in their positions, like MOST, can only fight guys essentially required to. And while Pac was gaining more momentum and defeating guys like Hussein, Sanchez, and Ledwaba, Guzman was just making a run at being a contender. By the time Guzman won his first belt, the WBO belt, PAc was already defending his title. And if you KNOW anything about the WBO, that belt essentially kept you from unifying with others as you would not get ranked. Derrock Smoke Gainer Smoke was a slick FW who was in the same division as Pac. But while being brought along by RJJ on his cards, sufferd a few defeats while Pac beat MAB, rendering a fight w/ Smoke useless. Smoke, BTW, was on HBO's No Fight LIst sue to a couple TERRIBLE performances. Raheem As I said, when he defeated Morales, he was a LW. Morales moved up in weight to try and grab a record 4th belt in a division (Mexican record). He failed in that bid and went baclk to 130 to face Pac. Maybe Raheem could have dropped to 130 to face Pac, but Morales and PAc had been ina great fight before, and there was the rematch option. By thr time PAc moverd up to 135, Raheem was an afterthought and hasn't done squat but lose to Freaitas and pretty much nothing else. Nate Campbell Not slick at all if he's one you thought of. So...who was there realistically as an option? There just aren't many small, slick fighters in the divisions Pac fought for the majority of his career.
really? and how would u expect him to negotiate with arum? isnt it funny how as soon as cotto leaves a Floyd vs Cotto fight was able to be so quickly. please be realistic *******. Martinez? why would he fight a middleweight with no fanbase for a tune up after a 16 month layoff? like i said, be realistic.
cotto was the biggest fight at WW that time. floyd and his camp fielded and excuse saying cotto was not a draw and decided to fight big show instead at WWE and retired. floyd said he wants the winner of martinez-williams but fought ortiz instead coming from yet another vacation.
Shut up... you just embarrassed yourself. P.S. Does Bradley qualify? I'm sure Bradley would be considered "slick" if he wasn't going to fight Pacquiao.
Clottey is a REAL Black man! He's from Africa and 100% black! Floyd Mayweather gots nothing on Clottey's blackness! :deal Clotteys Blackness > Floyd's Blackness
Cotto was with Top Rank, a company that we all know doesnt do buisness with floyd. be realistic bruh. how would u picture Arum and Floyd negotiating a fight after floyd just bought himself out of his contract with TR and just made big money with DLH? their relationship was even worse than it is today. u think arum is just gonna welcome him back with open arms? btw Cotto has never showed interest in a floyd fight. bottom line is Arum + Floyd = no fight. now that Cotto is FREE from TR we have the fight. open your eyes *******
If Pac beats his next opponent, who is a fairly slick African American fighter in his prime who is naturally bigger than Pacquiao and top 10 pound for pound, can we just shut this thread down once and for all?
It's only seen as a "dilemma" by absolute imbeciles. I'm afraid to read this thread because I'll probably lose the little faith I have left in humanity.
