Guzman is Dominican, Pacquiao needs to stop ducking Dominican fighters.

He could have fought Guzman but I really don't blame him for that. What I'm really saying is right now there are slick fighters out there who he should fight #1 being PBF guys like Devon Alexander the Peterson bros are others. What sucks about having a debate like this is people like you get bent all out of shape when someone like me speaks the truth and you don't want to hear it. You know damn well Pac needs to fight atleast one black american fighter before he's finished. Pac not having faced an black american fighter in a sport with a rich tradition of black fighters isn't right and that's all I'm trying to point out.

Here's the thing: people throwing out names like Campbell and Mosley shouldn't be saying Pac's avoiding slick fighters, because neither of them are especially slick these days in the grand scheme of things. Black American fighter doesn't automatically mean slick defensive fighter, even though it's not uncommon for them to be schooled in that way. When's the last time Shane turned down a "fight" so he could outslick a guy for a decision?

Pac fought JMM twice, and while Juan's obviously not black, he represented a tough style matchup for Manny. Now, we're on the verge of seeing him face the slickest opponent he's faced yet, who does happen to be black. But just because Floyd's a slick, skilled son of a Predator doesn't automatically mean the other couple of black fighters Manny could've fought had he rearranged things offered the same stylistic disadvantages for him. Out of Campbell, Mosley, and Floyd, I think Floyd's the toughest style matchup for Manny; so if he were dodging, that wouldn't be the fight he'd be chasing. It's pure economics that are driving it now.

Arum's no idiot here; Pac has fought the biggest names amongst Mexican, Puerto Rican, and British boxing and made a fortune doing so. They'll now fight the biggest named US fighter available, because guess what? That's where the most money's at. The stars have simply lined up that the biggest names representing those groups (thus providing the biggest paychecks) also happened to represent a sizable risk for Manny.

It's a pure non-story to me, unless people want to start making the argument that even the black US fighters who aren't that slick anymore have some sort of magical ingrained slickness they're just keeping under wraps until they get a Pac fight. And if that's the case, maybe Campbell and Shane should've unleashed some of that hidden Black Magic against Peden and Cotto, respectively.

I'm just ****ing with you don't take me that serious.:good But I'm trying to get you to understand that Pac needs to fight atleast one black american fighter before he calls it a day. I really don't think that it's too much to ask.
