Pacquiao is great,hands down,and no one can argue against that broad declaration.However,let's stop the top ten and top twenty talk and examine the deep end of the hall.

1:Jake Lamotta destroys Pacquiao.2:Carmen Basillio destroys Pacquiao.3:Kid Gavilan destroys Pacquiao.4anama Brown destroys Pacquiao.5:Emile Griffith destroys Pacquiao.6:Aaron Pryor destroys Pacquiao.7:Meldrick Taylor destroys Pacquiao.8ernell Whitaker destroys Pacquiao.9:Alexis Arguello destroys Pacquiao.10:Julio Cesar Chavez destroys Pacquiao.11:Roberto Duran destroys Pacquiao.12:Henry Armstrong destroys Pacquiao.13:Sugar Ray Robinson destroys Pacquiao.14:Sugar Ray Leonard destroys Pacquiao.15,16:Marvin Hagler destroys Pacquiao and Tommy Hearns destroys Pacquiao.

Not only is Pacquiao not a top ten all-time-great,he is not even a top ten all time(junior)welterweight.(Floyd isn't either!)

Bottomline,with how vicious these guys were when it came to respect and who was better or who was the real champ,with all the accolades thrown at Pacquiao's feet he would be a real target,inciting thuggish behavior(Hagler jumps on him,Duran begins to kick him!,there's no kicking in boxing!,Emile Griffith begins to take his trunks off!,grossed out everyone turns away,leaving Pacquiao to his first one on one fight against the homosexual champion!).Placing Pacquiao in the deep end of the hall would be torture,his bust would confess to masterminding 9/11,calculating that Federal detention would be safer.So please,for Pacquiao's own good,when he is placed in the hall of fame,place him near the front door!

 

Panthers89 you're wrong about almost everything you said.First would you call Muhammad Ali a newbie if he posted here for the first time?There are hundreds of people here with lots of post and most of them are silly or condescending and far from intelligent or critical.Now Pacquiao's speed and strength.Most of the white guys on this list were much stronger than Pacquiao and loved to brawl,think Barrera but stonger.Most of the latinos on this list were superior boxers and possesed equal or greater strength size and in a few cases speed.Panama,Alexis and Roberto.Most of the black guys on this list were superior in size,length,speed,craftiness and some of them in strength as well.Hearns,size,length,and strength.Robinson,everything.Hagler,strength,size,chin.Maybe he could beat Emile but maybe I only say that because he was gay because if you know boxing then you know he probably beats Manny 8 of 10 times.Whitaker,speed and craftiness.But maybe even Willie pep would beat Manny.Manny would hardly ever hit him and you saw his frustration when he couldn't hit Clottey who stood right in front of him.You say noob but only a noob would say Manny belongs in the end of the hall where these guys are located.As great as he is,he can't beat any of these guys and therefore doesn't belong near them in the hall,especially if they have to move someone to put him near say Robinson or Duran.
