He did say he was going a away for a year right before all the legal bs he's got going on popped off. My guess is as long as his court case doesn't get postponed again and he avoids jail time, we'll hear something about it shortly after that.

My guess is that it won't be Pacquiao though. I don't think they're going to even entertain the idea if of negotiating with them if the drug testing isn't agreed to right off the bat.

I can see him fighting Cotto if he looks good against Mayorga (but Arum might be an issue there too), or Martinez @ 154. Kahn, Morales (who also wants to move up), and Berto are out there too. But I guess we'll see in the months to come.

I'm just saying don't be surprised if you see it. I think that fight is very winnable for Floyd. And Risk vs Reward I don't see it as a very dangerous fight for him. And if the money is good, beating Martinez while he's red hot would put him unquestionably in the drivers seat. We aren't talking about a slow, power punching, flat footed, immobile slugging, middleweight, in Kelly Pavlik or a wild swinging, arm punching, defenseless Williams. Martinez fights with his hands down, he's always off balance, and he's nowhere near as fast as either Floyd or Pacquiao. He's also not the type of fighter who uses his size to impose on his opponent. He's looked good against slower, less technically oriented opponents, but I think Floyd would box circles around him all day. Thats just my opinion.
