Ray Mancini: The fight should have happened a long time ago but the same thing I said would happen six years ago I think will happen, I think Mayweather beats him. They’re both special fighters but Mayweather is bigger, faster and stronger, that’s a trifecta in boxing. The other side of it is, Pacquiao is a bad style for Mayweather because Mayweather likes to lean to his right and Pacquiao doesn’t fight like a traditional southpaw, he does things backwards. Pacquiao moves to his left and so is his straight left hand. Mayweather bends his body right in line for a left hand. It will be an interesting fight, I think Pacquiao will make him fight right from the jump and it will be interesting to see what happens. Robert Brown: What’s your prediction for the fight? Size and strength of larger opponents have never bothered Pacquiao before, so I don't think Mayweather will be any different. And Mayweather isn't faster. Reaction time, yes, hand speed, no.
So, in an article where Ray Mancini says that Maywaeather will beat Pacquiao by decision, AND that he would have beaten Pac if they fought 5 years ago, the headline is: "Pacquiao bad style for Mayweather". Ok.
Whether the style is bad or not we won't know intill fight night All I know is Floyd is Pacs best opponent & vice versa. I think the styles mesh pretty well...not well enough to say Pac is a bad style matchup. If Pac wins a close decision I don't wanna hear Pacquiao was just a bad style matchup lol. If he rakes Floyd over the coals then maybe so...but who really sees that happening?
I think Roach said something similar to this he said Floyd will dip straight into Manny's left hand. I think this is how Pacquiao could win this fight. :bbb
