In round 6 it was I believe, i thought i saw pac badly hurt to the body and nearly go down, it seemed as if margo was 1-2 body shots away from putting him down but I thought the bell saved him (not saying it saved him from a ko, just a potential knockdown or him taking a knee) in the after fight interview pac confirmed that he was hurt. what i also was very surprised by was that he admitted he was also hurt by an uppercut but i didnt see that at all, other then margo catching him with a clean shot, i didnt think he was also hurt to the head, i assumed it was just to the body. what did you guys think about this?

Yeah, you're right. It may have been a lopsided fight but Margarito is still a live comp who can inflict harm to Manny.

I think he performed extremely well and took the punches of a guy 20 pounds heavier. Was he hurt? Dizzied for fractions of a second? Maybe, but he is a ****ing BEAST.

Pac was never hurt. He was just trying to give some respect to the guy he just embarrassed out of pity.

    Exactly.

The only thing Margarito proved is that he can absorb a one sided beating. I'm not sure why some people are giving him props for that.

Oh yea, Pacman was definitely hurt. Total respect for the little warrior to come out and admit it like a man he was hurt he said so himself. He basically took Margo's best 2 punches and I think it was a mistake for Pacman to underestimate Margo, but he quickly learned from that mistake the same way Floyd recuperated from Mosley's best shot. Other than that, Pacquiao delivered a one sided shellacking and a master performance vs an unrelenting, bigger, heavier opponent. Pacquiao could of won by KO, but he also said he did not want to risk it. That means he is alot smarter than given credit for, he's a thinking fighter while still being exciting.

I thought Manny was very close to going down. Margarito landed 2 or 3 very clean and hard body shots that caused Manny to just slump down and almost collapse. Manny then ran around raggedly trying to stay away from Margarito for the rest of the round until about 5 seconds left when he threw a few punches trying to win the round. Margarito landed a few uppercuts during the fight but I don't recall seeing Manny really bothered too much by anything that hit his granite like head.

I also recall Manny landing a nasty body shot on Margarito that I thought was going to lead to an early KO.

I don't know what some of you guys are talking about. Pac was definately hurt by that body punch, two of them actually. I didn't know if he would be able to continue after them but he did. But those two body shots were brutal as ****.

Exactly. If you can't find a silver lining, invent one.

    I saw it too.

Margo hit him with a left hook to the body and Pac winced a bit and lowered his right elbow.

Even if he was hurt by a body punch does it really matter now anyways?

Pac just whooped the 3 best body punchers in and around his weightclass. Who else is there that could body punch as well as Cotto,Hatton and Margo?

    :rofl:lol:

    Pac murdered him.

"I didn't know if he would be able to continue"? "Brutal as ****"?

The fight was a one sided beat down. What the **** are you talking about?
