Pacquiao badly hurt by body shot and uppercut

I'm a Floyd fan and I'll give Manny props for this despite Margarito's lack of speed and defense, but he had a good weight advantage. I think Margo did a bad job cutting off the ring and I doubt they worked on his footwork at all in camp.
I agree with you though, once he hit him with the body shot, I screamed at him to hit him in the body more. it was obvious that he was hurt, Pacquiao looked panicked on the ropes there and it showed in the next round when he was moving a lot slower

 

A supernatural performance by Pac and proof that Margo can do great damage with just a few punches and without cheating

 

I've watched replay pac was considering falling down to his knees. All the wind had gone out of him at that point. If margo had a decent trainer they would have made him set up his left jab in order to the land a right hand body shot from the get go. But from round 1 margo was head hunting.

 

when a 165-lbs guy hits a 148-lber with a punch, certainly the much smaller guy can get hurt. but the smaller guy did take those 2 punches and hurt the bigger guy much more with his own punches.

margo was also hurt by a body punch from pac in the 4th. margo winced and adjusted his trunks after it.

 

Pac was definitely hurt at one point
he admit it in the post fight interview, and he looks visibly hurt in the post fight interview as well, i think his shoulder is injuried or something
i wish Pac fought smarter, he test Cotto bodyshot and now he wanna test Marg power

 

I almost shat my pants when tony landed that left hook to the body. Pac was on the verge of being KD there. good thing it was close to the end of the round.

 

hey dont contest him saying it was a brutal as **** body shot...the mere fact that pac just kinda shrugged it off is saying a lot...if you get my drift.....

 

Margarito was close to giving Manny big trouble. Manny came through and won easily, props to Pac.

 

Pacquiao recovered very well, but that left to the body had him hurt. Thinking otherwise is just dick riding at its best. :hi:

 

he was more than just hurt. Pac hit him a few times more there, Marg started to bend over to keep the stomach protected some. Pac attempted another shot and Marg jumped back, still bent over. Thats NOT a subtle sign someone's severly hurt in the body.... at the end of the round Margo was hurt AND GASSED

The travesty is that Freddy & Pac NEVER pursued this into the 5th round and beyond, until the later rounds. This could have led to the same-style stoppage by SSM. He attacked his trunk till he was bending over so badly and then started to load up and drop his hooks DOWNWARDS on his head...

 

it was about mid-round when it happened. pac even rallied in the last minute of the round to even get that round.

thing is pac got hurt by that body punch, took it and retailated much more with his own barrage of punches.

question is how many times did pac hurt margo in that fight. i can remember at least 6 occasions when margo was clearly hurt.

pac also started holding back his punches midway in the 11th and the whole of the 12th round. when asked why he did this after the fight, pac said that he didn't want to injure margo permanently and that boxing is not about two ppl killing each other.

 

he might have had to take a knee if he got another shot in....

One day it will come out from someone who trained close with manny possibly even amir that he was on growth hormone. The only way that a guy that was being hurt and backed up by morales every round before losing a 12 round decision can all of a sudden grow a bigger head (Jaw) and start taking punches twice as hard easier is if his bone density became greater. He wears a heavy beard now all the time, he is trying to hide the size his jaw has grown, its one of the first symptoms of taking growth hormone, ask anyone who has taken it.
