Pacquiao badly hurt by body shot and uppercut

I am going to borrow a phrase from LArry Holmes (I think) to answer this.
SO ****ING WHAT??? He was is a fight. Of course he got hurt. But he came back and continue to whoop Margo's ass. That makes him ****ing great. Especially when fighting a much bigger guy

 

uhhhhh he was being hit by a 165lb man....im sure he felt some of those punches.....with that said i dont think it bothered him too much...he repeatedly went to the ropes and allowed Margo to pound away so i dont think it was to big a deal

 

He did bend his knees and used some head movement. I am sure taking a knee wasn't in his mind. He could have taken a knee if he wanted to. So ****ing what???? It's a fight, and he kicked ass

 

I think Margarito has the power to hurt anyone his own size with his bodyshots and uppercuts...



...therefore I don't think it's remotely surprising, interesting or significant that he managed to hurt someone 17lbs lighter than him with his best punches.

 

I'll admit when the bodyshot and that uppercut landed I thought Pac was ****ed. Watching a replay of one of he bodyshots made me wince.

 

Floyd was badly hurt by Mosely in the second, but both him and Pacquiao dominated the rest of their fight so what does it matter?

Nothing wrong admitting he got hurt very smart staying away from ropes in the middle of the ring circling around the big man.

it was an all-out action fight. at some point both protagonists will get hurt. the one who gets hurt much more loses and that was margarito despite having a big 17-lb size advantage.

 

this fight was over at the weigh in...marg was gaunt and looked sick...hydroxycut in the locker room confirmed this...without the wraps marg has no power

 

apparently, the hydroxycut found before the fight at margo's locker room contained Ephedra, a banned stimulant which is a PED. he also drank coffee there which is illegal before a fight.

 

marquez did worse, he got him to dance around the ring with a left hook. morales gave him a lesson in boxing in the 1st fight. this guy is not anything special, marquez has provided the blueprint on how to beat him, no one wants to follow it for some reason.

 

The fight was fixed.
