This. Find it a disgrace to see people actually TRYING to justify that Pacquaio was somewhat hurt in a round that all of a sudden Margarito is a genuine big time puncher and that the loaded gloves never happened....Pathetic. He's a criminal, attempted murderer, a piece of **** who makes fun of people's illnesses, and collected $3 mil by doing nothing but getting beat on all night long and hardly doing anything until about the 6th-7th round and then after, continued doing nothing until Pacquaio LET him. Just a walking, dumb dead zombie. Even one of the other websites said Margarito should be embarassed and disgraced by his performance and punch output in the first 6-7 rounds. It's obvious his loaded wraps are what allowed him to get success in the fights before the Mosley one. He should be re-tried and thrown in prison, Mr. Jeffrey Resto Jr.
you still think a "blueprint" that was made against a raw one-handed pacquiao 6 years ago is still applicable to the pac of today? :huh
I thought Pac was going to go down one time, but when you see the reply you don't see as many punches land on him
There were a couple of times when Margarito visibly hurt Pacquiao. One was by Pacquiao trying to exchange purposely and another was a little more unexpected with a long lunging uppercut type punch that was later in the fight, Pacquiao retreated quickly but came back with his own and closed the round strong. Pacquiao has amazing recovery abilities and can take a good shot. I'd say at this point, he's proven to be extremely durable which makes him very dangerous for the style that he holds, since many times his offense serves as his first line of defense. whether he was hurt or not is not really relevant as he did put a pretty bad beating on Margarito. I don't think Margarito was necessarily close to stopping Pacquiao at any piont, at least it didn't look like it, regardless of what Pacquiao may have said (he seemed to want to give big ups to Margarito for finishing the fight and probably felt bad for him).

Manny was clearly hurt by a body shot in the 6th. It buckled him and then he quickly got that crazed look in his eye and wanted to trade. Loaded wraps or not, it shouldn't have been a surprise to see Margarito had the power to hurt Pacquiao--the man was outweighed by 17lbs! What was more fascinating was seeing the little guy had the power to hurt Tony to the body in the 4th. Margarito clearly winced and dropped his right elbow to protect his ribs. I was expecting Manny to target that area more after seeing the results of that one punch. Anytime Tony would lunge in with his right hand, I wanted to see Pac slip and counter with his left to the ribs.
were you around for the second marquez fight? the big hype about pacquiao before the fight was he had developed the 'bolo' punch with the right hand, this was supposed to knockout marquez, and if you didn't know it didn't, actually it did **** all and pac got given a boxing lesson. technically manny is an ordinary fighter, thats why if you box you can take him to school like marquez did twice. granted if you stand toe-toe and slug it out then your playing into his hands because he is an excellent fighter at short range. but morales did show he can get his ass whooped standing toe-toe. a prime delahoya, mosley and morales all beat him because they are technically better fighters.
You have to remember that Pacman fought a super middle weight last night. Of course those shots were going to hurt him.
what I mean is his actually foot speed. They should get some football or basketball coach and have him do agility work
This ^ :good I'll admit it got me on the edge of my seat for a second. Pac is a beast but Margo took his beating well :!:
