10-15% would be 2.5-4Million, assuming Pac gets 20M. Like it or not, Top Rank do hold all the leverage in negotiations, and that offer is reasonable. Escpecially for someone acting so desperate to get the fight and won't make that money anywhere else. Plus Top Rank have to account for the money GBP are stealing from them regarding Pac's promotional rights

 

jmm deserves to make MORE than margarito did...point blank...what did margarito do to deserve that fight? for that matter, what did they do to deserve to fight for the 154 belt?

Margo got $3 Million gauranteed. Top Rank were able to give him a big PPV upside as he was a Top Rank fighter. Top Rank could afford to be a little more liberal with the money in that fight with Jone's gaurantee and not having to pay to host the fight in Dallas. And it was an in-house fight, so the money stayed with them.

The best comparison would be the Cotto fight in Vegas, which did 1.25M PPV buys in the US. Cotto received a $4 Million gauranted purse, and that was also an in-house fight. Cotto was a much bigger attraction than Marquez is. Clearly Marquez does not deserve more than what Cotto got. Anything from $2-4 Million is a fair offer.

Id love to see them at it again but despite marquez looking good against katsidis ( a hero but a guy with less than zero defence and who thinks jabs make your dick shrink ) I cant see who an older version of a guy who couldnt win then will beat a better and bigger version of the same guy now.

 

Juan Manuel fights the best aailable. he is the true champ at lightweight. When is the last time pac *** fought a true champion in any division? not a paper chmion or a nobody coming off of a loss,suspension and a shitty win over a clubgighter at a catchweight? pacquiao's last fight were he didnt have it all his own way and was genuinely exciting as we didnt know which way it was going to go for the whole fight was against marquez and his fans dont want this now? im a fan of boxing, not a diehard to either of these two boxers, and i think if mayweather pacman cant be made, marquez pacman next best option
