Basically it both is and isn't really impressive. Had some prospect come out and battered a Fredrick Lawson in sparring, you would have to sit up and take notice. Pacman really ought to be at the very least battering a Lawson (full-size welterweight, seemingly rather strong and durable, typical Ghanaian style, moderately skilled...but nothing apparently special about him and with nothing approaching world class experience, and possessed of nothing Pacquiao hasn't seen before...) in sparring, if not burning through him in one night's work and needing a replacement in a jiffy.
