De La Hoya, Barrera, Morales, Cotto, Marquez, Mosley and now Bradley.
He's 11-4-1 (5 KO) against them including Mayweather.

In any case, he took a lot more risk.

Who knows, a few more of these guys may make the Hall at some point and his total could go up.

    Hatton ? Thurman ?
They have the right nationalities but for me they are really too short to qualify for the HoF.

No he's not and he proved it when he was schooled by pbf and was brutally koed by a man pbf shut out and was ktfo by a no hoper midget at 112 and lost to horn.

Compare the number of fights made by Pacquaio with those made by Mayweather and you'll find the solution to the problem.

Pac ducked a prime pbf because of testing. Those are facts and when they fought you saw why, it was easy work for pbf. Pbf doesn't lose to a bum like horn nor does he need a gift against a guy like sanchez or does he lose to a faded erik Morales and he damn sure didn't need 4 fights with jmm in order to beat him clearly. Pbf was the better more skilled fighter who's the best of his era period end of discussion.

Man, the difference between Mayweather and Pacquiao is the fact the way the two went about selecting their opponents. While Pacquiao took a lot of risky fights against guys that had a shot at beating him, Mayweather has been more calculated in picking fighters to gain an advantage over them. Closed case.

Stop! Pac fought guys coming off loses and bad performances all the time. Hell he chose to fight clottey instead of agreeing to testing to fight pbf. He also beat some guys after pbf beat them, wtf are you talking about? Pbf usually fought guys coming off good wins and were belt holders or p4p ranked fighters. You can't fight everybody but if pbf didn't fight them then it's his fault right?

Ok, we can say are they are ALMOST neck to neck.

Floyd has 5 lineal titles; 4 ring titles; 11 world titles.

Pacquiao has 5 lineal titles; 3 ring titles; 9 World titles.

    Mayweather:

    1. Only boxer in history to have 5 belts simultaneously in multiple divisions. The WBC(Ortiz), WBA(Maidana), WBO(Pacquiao) at 147 and WBA(Cotto), WBC(Canelo) at 154.
    2. Beat Rocky record for being the only fighter to retire 50–0.
    3. Only fighter to have 15 major world titles.
Pacquiao: Only boxer to win world titles in 8 divisions(Barrera and Hatton were ring title fights). Only boxer to win lineal titles in 5 divisions. Only boxer to be world champion in 4 decades(1990, 2000, 2010, 2020). Only boxer to be 4x welterweight world champion(Cotto, Bradley, Vargas, Thurman). Oldest Welterweight champion in boxing history. The Ring longest fighter to be on P4P top 10 (The Ring been established since 1922). The Ring is more prestigious than the 4 sanctioning body belts. A lineal title bout usually comes with The Ring title.

I think Pacquiao far surpasses Floyd career regarding legacy. The man just simply set too many records.

But to top it off, who had the best year?

Floyd best year is probably 2013. He got a ring title while retaining his WBC with Robert at 147. He then unifies WBA and WBC with the ring and lineal title at 154 against Canelo. In one year he gets 2 ring titles, 1 Lineal title, and 1 world title within 2 division

Pacquiao best year hands down is 2008. He grabs WBC, The Ring, and lineal title from Marquez at 130. He grabs WBC against Diaz at 135. Moves up two weight classes to 147 to fight Oscar. Pacquiao was a huge underdog in the Oscar fight. In one year he gets 1 lineal title, 1 ring, 2 world titles within 3 divisions.

I have to give it to Pacquiao. 3 fights in one year while going up 4 weight classes. He TKO Diaz and retire Oscar.

Pacquiao is better than Mayweather when it comes to their career.

To be fair ODLH was shot and also was a zombie in that fight, he hadn't fought at Welterweight in a decade. I don't really count that as a great win honestly.

I wouldn't really say Cotto is a HOF, a very good fighter but not great for me still a good win though.

Morales had seen better days coming off a 12-0 loss to Zahir Raheem, and also losing trilogy to Barrera.

Bradley a HOF ? Again not for me a good fighter not great but again a solid win though.

Mosley had also seen better days when he fought Pacquiao.

The Barrera win was an amazing one, Barrera was top 5 P4P and Pacquiao destroyed him.

Marquez ? Well i'm one of the people that thought Marquez beat Pacquiao in their series, but Marquez was a great and in his prime definitively.

I'm not trying to sound like a hater, but you can't just bring up names without some context. Obviously Pacquiao is an ATG with an amazing resume, but some of the names you listed were fighters way past their best. Although Pacquiao moving up in weight also has to be taken into account aswell.
