I agree. However sports Halls of Fame, including boxing, are full of undeserving types. I was just saying some others might make it. I don't think they're deserving.
I'd agree if pac had like 1 or 2 loses but he had too many and not just loses but bad loses. Bad loses Torrecampo a 5 foot midget khtfo Erik Morales faded and beat pac at his own game Jeff Horn cherry pick gone wrong and he lost Bad Draw Sanchez a fight he got a gift in and should've lost. Sanchez wasn't good period. Now the other loses Sangsurat he was a good fighter but nothing special Jmm great fighter who he never beat clearly who got the best win of the four fights with a highlight reel ko. Bradley good fighter but imo not hof worthy you shouldn't need 3 fights against Bradley if you're greater than pbf Pbf fight of the era, legacy fight in which he lost badly to his rival. This was the biggest fight of his career and he lost wide. Ugas A guy he was favored to beat who beat him up and ended his career. He was past it and it showed. In conclusion too many loses and bad loses and lost h2h to pbf wide to be greater or better than pbf. Pbf doesn't lose to fighter on Pac's resume and canelo is better than anyone pac beat.
I hadn't really thought about who it might be. I would say that the most deserving guy would be Oscar Larios but even he is a longshot at best.
I didn't know Mayweather got his Ring title against Guerrero. Makes no sense, Guerrero was top 5 in the category at best. Fighting for the Ring title between Pacquiao and Bradley II would have made more sense.
DLH was clearly seen as the favourite. Certainly he was a bit old but he was against a lightweight who had just climbed super featherweight. It's as if today we face Jermell Charlo against Davis at 145 pounds. Morales will last 12 rounds against Garcia and Maidana years later. He won't take another knockout until the rematch against Swift six years later. Cotto is clearly a HoF: World Champion in four categories and 20 title fight wins. Bradley is a lesser HoF than the others but still world champion in two categories and 10-1 in title fights (he only lost to Pac)
Yeah Hatton, Oscar and Shane are great wins for manny, but not for Floyd, despite him beating them first? Lol Manny is great and it's still at least a debate who is greater, as he did have more fights and climbed a more divisions However, who is better? It's Floyd and it's not close
People didn't think Pacquiao would be able to move up in weight fair enough, but with hindsight lets be honest ODLH had literally nothing in the Pacquiao fight. He hadn't fought at Welterweight in a decade, and was horribly weight drained and basically a walking corpse that night. I mean yeah Pacquiao beat ODLH and it looks good on the record, but actually look at the context of the victory. ODLH was way past his best horribly weight drained, and it certainly wasn't the late 90's version of ODLH in there with Pacquiao. Yes Morales showed some bravery against Garcia, Maidana, fair play to him. But it doesn't change the fact Morales was past it against Pacquiao, and was coming off a one sided 12-0 loss to Zahir Raheem when Pacquiao beat him. Yes Pacquiao deserves come credit for being the first man to stop Morales, but clearly Morales was on the slide and past his prime when Pacquiao eventually beat him. My definition of HOF fighters is the best of the best, i consider Cotto a very good fighter but not a great one. But again that's just my criteria and i guess people can see it different ways, but nothing against Pacquiao's win over Cotto which was a very good one. Again what i just said before i don't consider Bradley a great fighter but that's just my opinion.
