IF this fight happens, Floyd and that will make sure he has all the advantages going in. He's doing it against Marquez (catchweight??? really?) and I think it will have a serious impact on the fight.

I favor Floyd, but it does spring to mind that Judah gave Floyd all sorts of trouble for the first few rounds... and Manny doesn't gas the same way. That said, someone as smart as Floyd is will be a tough night for anyone, left or right-handed.

Come on now. No one will accuse Mayweather of picking on the little guy after what Pac has done. 2nd round KO over Hatton is just freaking ridiculous. That is two common opponents that Manny has absolutely decimated in far more incredible fashion than Mayweather. I realize styles make fights and I think Mayweather will beat Pac, my only point is NO ONE is going to accuse Mayweather of picking on a little guy in this fight. The size difference is just not that significant. Pac just showed us incredible one punch KO power against the top 140 pounder in the world. There is still a question as to whether he can take punches at that weight since neither of his larger opponents really landed anything. I did not think Pac would win this fight as I believed he was biting off more than he can chew against these larger opponents. Well puke on that. Manny has shown again and again that size means nothing and if Floyd wins it will not be because of his size advantage.

Boy why am I wasting my time? I forget that everyone at this forum only loves or hates certain fighters and does not appreciate the sport as a whole.

well floyd got called out so its his rules to how the fight is? he fights at 147 n JMM knows that he has no business calling him out if he dont want to fight at that weight!

but then again i guess if floyd didnt fight him he would be called a ducker

I agree. Given what Pacquiao did to Mayweather's last 2 oppnents, and JMM being Pacquiao's greatest challenge by far the fight makes perfect sense. Can't wait!:good

This fight won't be about size. Just like Pacquiao against Hatton and Oscar, size wasn't an issue. Having said that, I can definitely see Pacquiao beating Mayweather. Floyd will have great difficulties against these guys because skills is the issue here. Mayweather don't even fight like a big man.

I like the fact that someone brought up Zab Judah against Mayweather. if you watch that fight, Zab was doing great the first 4 or 5 rounds. but if you watch that fight carefully, you will see a flow change. and it is not because of Zabs stamina as much as it is PBF ability to shift the control of the fight. Ricky Hatton was just too much of a target for Pac. Floyd will do his best to frustrate Pac early. His defense is outstanding. but he better bring his A game against both Marquez and Pac.
I think PBF did the right thing in retiring. He allowed the best to shoot it out and now Pac is bigger than life. worth the challenge. What I like about pBf also, and did not like about hattons camp, was that PBf knows his opponent. it seemed like Floyd Sr was more focused on changing hattons style rather than really seeing him do well in sparring partners or figuring out Pacs weaknesses.
PAC is for real. The fact that he is that good should make PBF truly challenged and that is what true boxing fans want to see....

Floyd wins simply on skill. I'm not saying Pac isn't skilled, just not as skilled as Mayweather. Floyd's not going to walk into punches, and he won't just stand there and take punches like Pac's last 2 opponents. Don't get so gased on Pacquiao. Pac-man fights great, but Floyd is a great fighter. There is a difference.:smooch

Pac would out work Void and stop him. Although Void would have his referee and judges.
