To cut a long story short, I see in 2012 Pacquiao vs Bradley if Bradley is fortunate enough to land that fight as there is nobody for Pacquiao to fight after Marquez if Mayweather is not available. I then see Mayweather vs Khan happening for the same reason. I see this happening in 2012 and then I see the winners of both fights fighting each other and the loosers of both fights squaring off. Bottom line is, nobody is the looser here as both will still be able to bounce back off a loss into another big fight. Thoughts?
You think Bradley would fight Pacquiao but not Khan?!!! he was offered 1.8 million to face Khan!! he might get 4 million max to face Pacquiao where he will be destroyed. Bradley doesnt want to fight the big boys plus theres no way Pacs team will let Khan face mayweather when they could make the Pac fight happen and mulitply the revenue ten fold.
Yes. I made a thread on this a couple of weeks back: It’s becoming increasingly clear now that if you’re a welterweight with the desire to inherit the biggest payday possible in boxing, you must take two different routes, both ending with two different destinations. This is what appears to be happening with Khan and Bradley. Despite being destined, a couple of months ago, to collide with one another and determine the number one guy at LWW, the two fighters – Bradley more so than Khan – have had their heads turned by bigger, more lucrative prizes. Usually the pot of gold is situated at just the one end of the rainbow, but thanks to Pacquiao and Mayweather, we have a large pot on each side. One for Bradley, and one for Khan. So with Bradley on the verge of signing with Top Rank, he’s likely to sell his undefeated record (and a chunk of his health) to Pacquiao in 12 months time. Whilst Khan, being a Golden Boy, will have his youthful enthusiasm and confidence snatched away by Mayweather. Both guys will taste one-sided defeats in compensation for paydays they would never have seen elsewhere. And depending on what’s left of them, we may get to finally see them face each other in a bout which, compared to what it could have been now, will be pretty hollow in my opinion. So instead of guiding you up the ladder accordingly to get your prize, the sport of boxing, it seems, will immediately put you on top of the building, and push you off it once you think you've got your prize, leaving you damaged goods with little elsewhere to go. So there you have it. The two finalists in the unofficial junior welterweight tournament will now not face each other, and will instead be upgraded to another unofficial tournament at a higher weight to play pawns for two Kings that are milking every fight for what it’s worth, whilst not facing each other themselves . Boxing is a ****ing frustrating sport to be a fan of.
Pac and floyd need to fight each other next im tired of these hurdles. After their fight bradley and khan can be next.
why doesnt just Floyd man up and fight Pac we'll see after Ortiz. this is the LAST chance for Floyd to act like a man and save face for his fans. Pac is not gonna be waiting another 2 years
I dont see why it just cant be Mayweather vs Pac and Bradley vs Khan...winner fights winner (Mayweather vs Khan) and losers fight each other, or do whatever.
I don't think Khan or Bradley will be damaged goods even if both of them lose by KO. I think win or lose, they'll be bigger having fought Pacquiao and Mayweather. Also they might be able to fight each other in the future or fight Mayweather or Pacquiao is reverse. Who could blame them for cashing out? Why rule a division with no big money fights in it when you can chase the big money? Isn't that why Floyd moved up to take on Oscar? Or Pacquoao for that matter? Pacquiao didn't stay at 140.
This Since fat head is getting on with Top Rank with probably see Pac-Bradley May-Khan business is business
