Fair enough, ive said about all i can, your going to believe what you will... I guess we will have to agree to disagree :good. The choice is clear for me.

One is an undefeated number one ranked world champion

Another is a solid fighter whos claim to fame is losing to Cotto and Margarito, who doesnt have one win against his peers of top 10 welterweights at this time and should be focused on momentum building fights right now against his peers.

I can understand holding his losses in high regard, because he earned that with making them close, but it doesnt make it enough to me at least to mean he should be the one getting this fight.

No, but that fight comes up a lot consider how well Clottey performed before sustaining the injuries to his hands.

There is always excuses..Regardless of hand problems I still think Margarito would have won..Clottey fades and Margarito would have worn him out...

Clottey is a good fighter but he isn't exciting in anyway. He doesn't have a high KO perentage and is defensive minded. He also doesn't have a high work rate.

General public being the casual fans who might tune in to 5-10 fights per year. This demographic would probably be aware that the ww division is the class division in boxing.

This same demographic is more likely to have watched at least 1 Josh Clottey fight than at least 1 Timothy Bradley fight.

I've debated this fight with many a Margarito supporters and to this day I'll contend that Clottey performed better in the rounds that he won than Margarito did in the round that he won.

It was clear as day that Margarito was getting outclassed up until Clottey hurt his hand.

To say that Margarito would have won even if Clottey never got hurt on the belief that Clottey would have faded late is rather presumptuous; particularly when you consider how well Clottey fought in the 12th round.

Honestly, I scored the fight 6-6 and there's really no doubt in my mind that Clottey would have won had he never hurt his hand.

Welterweight isn't even the best division anymore in my opinion. It has taken a back step due to Cotto coming close to the end of his career and Margarito's suspension. In my opinion, the 168 division is the most talented weight class. Fact is, Clottey has and probably never will ever headline an event. Bradley has and will again.

haha... i deleted my comment cuz i felt i was being a bit harsh on the 'general public':patsch

As to your post... again, all that really doesnt matter to me, i dont care much about who the general public has seen more of, to me its who should be getting the fight, what fight means more, and what would make a better fight, and lastly what fight in my opinion is better for the fighters legacy, and just in my opinion, for the reasons i stated, its not Clottey.

anyways, ive said all i can, its pretty obvious to me and not that close but to each their own i guess :good.

Honestly, I'm not overly impressed with Bradley. He has shown progression and certainly had a good showing in his last fight against LP, but until he proves himself against better opposition, I hesitate to think that he could really offer solid resistance against a fighter like Pac.

I really think Pac would steamroll him after he adjusts 1-2 rounds into the fight; and then people will find a way to discredit the win because Pac moved back down in weight and exposed a fighter who has never fought on the big stage.

Anyways we can agree to disagree. Respect to you bruh.

He's got an "0" that needs to be taken. Too bad Pacquiao wouldn't risk himself by fighting an undefeated American fighter.:smoke

First he ducks Floyd, then Foreman, and now he sideswipes Bradley....

Clearly Pac's understudy Amir Khan has got more guts in fighting those 0-L's.

Doesn't want to fight him just like he dodged Zahir Raheem after he beat Morales.

Clottey is a bigger thread than Bradley. Should Pac fight Matt Hatton? of Clottey, that is the question!
