    It's not allowed.

    It wouldn't happen.

Shane would be a shell like ODLH was.

Pacquiao gets less credit for the win.

It's ridiculous. Pacquiao will weigh around that anyway. We know Shane would weigh more and he's at far too big of a disadvantage.

Pac is quite small even for the LW division, any natural WW will be too big and too strong for him. Apparently, Pac could go beyond 148 lbs at fight time based on his last 3 fights so a natural WW, like Cotto or Moseley (both of whom usually come at 160 lbs at fight night) will outweigh him by 10 lbs or more which Roach doesn't want to happen as he had said several times already.

And you don't find it ridiculous that Pac weighing at 147 will be fighting Mosley weighing at 160? :think

It's not like this kind of weight discrepancy had not happened plenty of times before. Now when it's against and elite fighter like Mosley, it is different though. I would not be real keen on putting Pacquiao in with Mosley. Shane hits harder than any other WW in my opinion.

Remember though, if Floyd fought Shane it would be the same thing but no one would be calling for a catch-weight! Pacquiao's best option if he wants to fight a bigger man is Cotto, if Cotto can get past Clottey.

I just think weighing in two hours earlier is too big of an advantage for Pac. Mosley would be dead at the weight and it taints a victory by Pacquiao if he wins. Now if there was some kind of clause that says Shane can re-hydrate beyond like 155 or 156 2 hours before the fight, maybe that would work.

its not the same with PBF who can longer make 140lbs, as shown by the weight of the Marquez fight.

You don't believe he can make 140? That's ridiculous, but I expect nothing less from you.

The only difference between Pac and Floyd's fighting weights now is Floyd doesn't cut weight at WW. Now if he comes in heavier in his next fight than before, then that changes.

Wait a minute. When did I say they were the same size? Same weight and same size are not the same thing. Don't give me that BS that Floyd "made" Hatton move up. Hatton could of had that fight when Floyd was at 140 but he didn't take. Hatton didn't weigh any different than if he'd been at jr WW, except he cut less weight for WW. You're the dumbest Pac nut-hugger sometimes, on par with the likes of Soriano and Asero.

relax. What I said is that Floyd's fight night weight hasn't been available since 2006, which is a fact. Through my eyes, your eyes and everyone else's eyes. I have both fights on my computer, and the fight night weight is not given.
