So often we hear that Pac could never fight on the inside. And that's he's a strictly midrange fighter.

That was only true at the higher weights. Yes against guys like Cotto, Margarito, Clottey, etc he didn't show an inside game. Because those guys would crush the **** out of him in there. Its called size mismatch.

But at the lower weights if you actually go rewatch his fights he's inside throwing short combinations, going to the body, throwing short straight lefts and short straight rights. And out muscling guys.

If you watch the Cotto fight and Margarito fight you will see Pac taking pain on the inside and on the ropes. Well no ****. That's what happens when an offensive fighter fights much larger men.

saying he cant fight on the inside is ridiculous, you don't get to where he is without being able to fight inside, he's just far more effective coming in and out from distance. Would he be able to outwork a Cotto or marg on the inside...no, but is pac's flurry's and burst more effective then their inside fighting...yes

Cotto and Marg are much bigger than Pac. If size wasn't a problem I'd expect Pac to pummel them inside as well.

Can fight on the inside, but not at his best at that range....
