Yup, that's what I've notice. Seems, pretty standard line of his before the fight and looks docile and harmless. But, during fight night he becomes a monster with evil intention on every punch.

  2. Pacquiao's pre-fight and post-fight comments are basically the same regardless of opponent.

Pre-fight: "I don't like to predict my fights, but I will do my best to give a good fight for the fans and for all the people that love boxing..."

Post-fight: "Thank you to all the fans and all the people that love boxing, especially the Filipino people."
"I trained very hard for this fight."
"Thank god for giving me strength."
"It's not personal, I'm just doing my job in the ring."
"My next opponent is up to my promoter, I'm just a fighter my job is to fight."

    etc

Check out this interview with Brian Kenny after the Cotto fight. At 1:19 he said that before the fight people were saying that Cotto is bigger than him and he just said to himself that "we'll see in the ring". From 2:29 - 2:45, he basically said that he is very confident that he can win the fight that he scheduled a concert right after the fight.

...my point being that Pac does not make predictions before the fight but his actions show that he is very confident that he will win.
