atsch How do people come up with bull**** like that!?!?!? Thanks for setting him straight. I knew that 20-25M was ridiculus, I just couldn't find the exact numbers.:good
Well his really a pro-wrestler who had some MMA fights. Not really. I remember people on here saying PBF v JMM wasnt a sell out yet they still did over 1 mil buys.
$35 million? don't be a ******. only way he gets that much is if arum gives him a big percentage, which arum doesn't as he rips pacquiao off, so no pacquiao isn't going to be getting that. you're probably going to be about $10 million off.
Jones offered 25M for the Mayweather/Pacquiao fight. I don't know why people think promoters get a site fee and keep the live gate. How would Jones make any money if paid 7M to have the fight staged there and then not collect the ticket money?
Seems it's obvious the attendance is what matters to Arum/Jones, why they didn't do much ppv related promotionals. My guess is 800k
I predict 600.000, which by Arum's mathematics would be 700.000. I'd be very surprised if it reached 900.000.
You have no ****ing clue how that went down do you? First off Pacquiao isn't getting a huge percentage of anything as Bob Arum is the biggest con man alive. Secondly, Jerry Jones isn't paying 20-25 million for a fight between Pacquiao and Joshua Clottey. He actually paid closer to 7 million and got most, and by most I mean nearly all of the gate. This isn't a ****ing charity. So no that isn't like 35 million pre-PPV. Its more like 8 or 9.
