Macklin would knock Duddy out early. Macklin's strength and power are too much for Duddy, who lacks defense and serious power.

Diaz looks as he wants it more and is trying to make the fight which could sway the judges but Soto landed the better shots in that round.

106-103 Soto.....Diaz needs a KO on my card

Because they closed half the arena off. It was decided they'd have 45,000 sears before the tickets went on sale and only bumped it to 50,000 recently. If they wanted to sell the whole arena out, they could by slashing the prices but this way, they've probably not lost much money.

Very short fast punches from Soto. Clear difference in technique here.

Soto surely sealed it there with the knockdown

What a plonker...showed what he can do in the last round but let Diaz get in with a shout.

Good definitive last round for Soto :good......gets a KD in the 12th.....116-111 to Soto, fair play to him for picking it up during the last 2 rounds, there should be no doubt about the result now.

Diaz put an admirable effort though, I do appreciate the effort he puts into fights, hes still good for FNF cards for another year or two

think that fight summed up the good and bad points with soto.

    good.

but not ever gonna be anymore than a good solid world class fighter.

Sad to see how Soto is hardly fussed about winning a WBC "world title"

Scorecards like to restore my faith in boxing that some judges can read fights correctly. It would be easy to get suckered into what Diaz was doing at times as unsuccessful as it was.
