Sorry to quote myself but to add one more thing that might make sense. Having a similar workout to Manny, its motivating to seeing ATG Manny Pacquaio feels the pain aswell just like anyone else who does that workout.
:rofl for the very best in his sport, at a leisurely pace, while talking to people, what looks like after his morning run, having not much difficulty, small range of motion, looks ok after it.
did you watch the video all the way through? did you notice at the end he was sitting there with his arms resting on his legs and not up and around getting ready for the next exercise like he just did a warm up? go do 700 crunches straight in a 10 min period (more then a crunch a second) , just crunches you dont even have to do the diffrent ab exercises manny does, and let us know how your abs feel afterwards..... I mean why do people assume that as your strength increases your stamina increases with less weight....but not that as your stamina increases with less weight your strength increases?....i mean if i can lift 100 lbs 100 times im pretty sure i can lift 200 lbs atleast once even if ive never tried to lift 200 lbs before in my life.
personal experience. if you want logic, think of it like this.....if something is so easy to lift that you can do it 100 times then obiviously you can up the weight and make it harder but you wont be able to do as many reps. obiviously its not going to give you the same gains in strength that you get when you lift heavy weights with low reps........but on the same hand lifting heavy weights with low reps obivously isnt going to give you the same gains in stamina as lifting moderate weight for a **** load of reps. lifting heavy weights builds strength with a byproduct of stamina.......liftin light weights a **** load of times builds stamina with a byproduct of strength......while they both have a byproduct of speed if you do them quickly. now does a pro boxer who fights 4+ 3 min rounds want to build strength with a by product of stamina or build stamina with a byproduct of strength.............manny knows the answer.....i mean he is a possible atg.....
not really....personal expericence can come from any thing analogus to the same situation. like me doing assited pull ups quickly with high reps and having my friend chalange me to who can do more weighted pull ups. (personal experience) and please do look up the definition of IF.......and how its used gramatically in the english language.
