You gotta understand where Manny is from...corruption and "hits" by people in power happen all the time under the nose of the "authorities". In the phillipines it's pretty damn corrupt and I'm guessing that Venezuela is probably the same way. Not that I necessarily agree with Manny but it's possible. It's just a little suspect that NO ONE was able to get to Ed before he killed himself. A man in his position and the charges he had would have been watched. Or at least should have been.

Manny won't win his election. Manny not boxing means there will probably never be 2 designated ceasefire days between all the country's rebels and the military again and everyone enjoys a day without having to shoot at each other. The Philippines would much rather have him as a fighter and then when he retires he can fail at politics on his own time.

Let the guy have his opinion geez. Why the stupid hate if someone doesn't share you opinion? Makes the hater look far worse than the guy who holds the conspiracy theory, no matter how outlandish the the theory.

I actually doubt it was a suicide.

But I also don't think it has anything to do with his wife or her family.

It is more likely Valero getting upset and violent in the prison - and thereby upsetting the wrong people. People who can make people "hang themselves in their cells".

Or it is an order from higher up in the system, to avoid the disgrace to the country bla bla.

I'm leaning to the first possibility.

One reason why I doubt it would be suicide is that Valero is not a person to suddenly feel remorse. It he was he would have done so years ago, and he would certainly have committed suicide when it was easier - rather than going to the police.. and then doing it. Makes no sense.

If you feel remorse, you send a Hallmark card.
Maybe even shoulder the responsibility by repaying the victim(s) in some way.

    Suicide is about avoiding responsibility.

For some reason I didn't read anything wrong about what Pacquiao said. Isn't everyone speculating why Valero died? Suicide is being claimed, and perhaps that's the truth, but none of us were there. Unless your God, we're always going to rely on second-hand sources, and logic.

By the way, even if it was suicide, was the motivation purely guilt? Was he asked or forced to commit suicide? There can be many possibilities.

He could have been sedated first (unwillingly even), and then hung to death to make it look like suicide. There's a lot of possibilities. We're just relying on what's been told, and may be that's the truth. Only a few really know.

It wasnt like Pac called for an official press conference to say all of those things.

One of his blabbermouth "advisers" (that asshat Michael Koncz) suddenly just blurted all that out on any media person who shoves a mic to his face.

"Manny told me this, Manny told me that.." blah blah.

Anyway, Manny and his lawyer officially disowned those statements, already, yesterday.
