Well, whether it's fair or not, all of the promotion companies are housed in the US, the fight will be held in the US, and the largest portion of the fighters salary's will come from the US PPV receipts so it's pretty relevant who is the more popular fighter in the US. Personally I think they both need each other and it should be a 50/50 split at 147.
This is a good number. Both may have US fanbases but for 2 non american to draw over 1 mil buys is impressive. Was this PPV $10 more than PBF v JMM? Oh and people need to stop going on like PBF cant draw. The numbers dont lie. People need to stop hating. We have had two 1 mil + PPV's and the eventual fight between the two winners could draw over 2 mil buys. I swear the people that dont like PBF claim to love boxing but would prefer to see him draw only 500,000 instead just so they can proudly claim PBF isnt a draw. Dana White can shut the fcuk up now. This guy was claiming everyone only wanted to see PBF v Pacman.
maybe (just maybe) .. because for the first time he wud be fighting a really really good welterweight fighter, and people wud be super excited to see him get raped for the first time... thats why he ducked him despite of good numbers he cud get
he dont need floyd, pacman is already written in the world record, almanac and in boxing history, 1 defeat for mayweather, his name will be erased....but whatever you say to make you happy....ill be happy
Never said Floyd was the bigger drawatsch. But everyone could agree Mannys popularity has grown immense esp with his last performance. Two different personalities, but Mannys being the more approachable one. Whether you like it or not right now they are pretty dead even when it comes to popularity. That's why I agree with the 50/50 and before you say anything else or post do your research a little bit more, there was free UFC this past weekend:good
You gotta look at the economy when Floyd fought Oscar and now! Total swing, plus that was when Oscar just beat Mayorga and forbes so people wanted to see him fight. Delahoya was the reason Floyd PPV numbers were high!
And that's Floyd's fault? Come on. EDIT - Well it kind of is. Why the **** didn't he think of it sooner. That *******.
The way you said it makes it out to be like he is. As if it's Floyd's fault there was no 24/7 or the fights would of been bigger than the 2.4 he did with DLH.
