    Lads,

This is off apparently. Pac and Roach being total divas about things it seems. They want Cotto to put his title on the line, pay the $150k licensing fee and then not weigh in above 145.

Bollocks if its for the Welterweight title, then he can get to 147, if its catch weight then they dont have to have the belt on the line.

Hope Pacquiao doesn't be a nob here, its cotto's belt and he'll draw just as many PPV figures and ticket sales.

The facts are facts- Pacman is trying to create his own weight division. I'm 100% behind Cotto on this if it's for HIS belt.

It'll happen. Everyone was convinced Pacquiao vs Hatton was off. Arum will give Manny some warm milk, play some Jackson 5, and get Manny to sign the contract.

You can't have one fighter forced to fight at 145 and still have the Welterweight title at stake. FULL ****ING STOP.:bart

Cotto need Pac not the other way round, Pac is a 140lber, Cotto a 147lber, Pac wanted it at 143, agreed to 145, then Cotto takes away the 1 bargaining chip he brings to the table, bring on Mosley/Mayweather

roach and pacman are a class team and you fancy them to beat most others. but **** me they are fussy wining *******s when it comes to getting the fights on. look at hatton and the money issue. they need to grow up and get the fight on. its a humbdinger

You know what right lads, I like roach and i think he's very inspirational doing what he does day in day out but it seems to me, if it isn't Roger or Joy in the opposite camp he becomes a bit of a bully figure. He was a twat to De La Hoya all the way through the build up to that fight and is becoming a twat again here. Joy Mayweather is a tit and a **** and Freddie is able to ride with what he says because Joy comes out with such stupid comments but when it comes to Roger Roach is **** scared and doesn't say a damn thing all the way through the build up.

I don't get your point. If Pac wants a WW strap the weight limit is 147...if he wants to come in at 140 then thats up to him. If the belt is up for grabs then it shouldn't be sanctioned if there are weight constraints

Fair enough, but as soon as one fighter is forced to weigh in at 145 then its not for the welterweight title.

  14. Hey man, can I ask you why that is?

I said from day one it makes no sense for Cotto except if he can't resist the lure of $$$ to fight at 145. No point risking weakening himself. And ultimately, if Pacquiao wants the glory of winning a welterweight title, hell if he wants to fight a welterweight full stop, fight at welterweight! Common sense...

Could be good for Cotto in the end, I saw him getting whooped in this fight.
