I don't think that was the best blue print because FMW already beat that style of boxing. However, Pacman can still use some of the moves applied during that time.

Yes, FMW has improved a lot defensively, and he such an elusive boxer. He hugs a lot and runs a lot too, which is part of the game of course.

Exactly brother. GOD is more than science and logic combined. I have mentioned it several times here that Manny Pacquiao has that mystical power (super natural power) that human beings can not comprehend. Unless you are religious yourself, you will never know what and how he did it against stronger and more skillful opponents. How is it possible that a man who is 106lbs can carry the same amount of power and speed all the way up to 145lbs without roids? Never in history of boxing that that happened. Only the creator, Himself, knows Manny's path. Like you said, it will all work out. To call him a mediocre is stupid and ignorant.

I think Pac has changed a lot as a fighter since his Marquez bouts - he's like a little beast.

After watching Cotto, there's no doubt the Mayweather's are shitting their pants. Besides, word on the street is that negotiations have broken down and Mayweather might be fighting Shane. Surprise surprise. ;-)

JMM's counter punching indeed gave Pac fits in their 2 fights, he however conversely was given fits by Pac's aggression and power.

If the point of this thread is to gauge how Pac would potentially perform against Mayweather then the variable that should not be neglected is how will Mayweather handle the war moments.

I think it's inevitable that at times Pac will force Mayweather to fight his fight and I question if Mayweather could survive the flurries that produced the kd's of JMM.

    :deal:thumbsup

I cant see Floyd taking making flush shots....I see him crumbling.

Pac has a big advantage by default for being a southpaw. The shoulder roll is useless against a southpaw like pack with a laser straight left.

pacquaio does have diversity in his punches. ive seen him through and hurt people with left uppercuts, straight lefts, looping lefts, and everything in between, that argument about pac being one dimensional. yeah he was, but with experience he has gained alot of skill and learned when and what to through.

Pac is a much better fighter since Marquez. I you want proof just watch those fights and compare them to Pac's last 3 fights. There's really no comparison. He was still pretty much a one handed fighter when he fought Marquez. He couldn't counterpunch. Now his right hand is just as good as the left. Just look at how many times he nailed Cotto with the right hand. The second Cotto knockdown was a counterpunch. BOTH Hatton knockdowns were counterpunches. He doesn't throw himself off balance anymore. He tucks his chin in, he feints, he jabs.

His offensive abilities are insane. I've honestly never seen anything like it. The way he puts 4-6 combos together with such precision reminds me of a peak Mike Tyson. Mayweather will be up against a completely different beast that fought Marquez.
