difference between marquez and floyd, marquez likes to trade and mix it up. floyd throwing 10 punches a round aint beating pacquiao.

I agree Paq has never fought anyone like Mayweather, The same can be said the other way around. I have no doudt that Mayweather can hit Paq, The question for me is can Mayweather hit him and not get hit back? Paq dosen't seem to mind getting hit as long as he gets his in. Can Mayweather take a shot from Paq that he doesn't see comming?

Funny, because I felt if Marquez wasn't so willing to mix it up, he could have beaten Pac more decisively the second time. So if anything, Mayweather can frustruate the **** out of Pac. The way I look at it is, if Marquez was able to win more than 6 rounds in each fight, surely Mayweather can do better.
Marquez was'nt warring with Pacquiao, but I do agree with you that there were often times so many rounds that were already in the bank, and Marquez was still right there in punching distance waiting for Pacquiao to get off so that he have the chance to make him pay. Thats a major difference between Marquez and Mayweather....... ......Marquez no matter how dangerous a puncher, wants you to come at him 3 minutes of every round. If you're not coming at him, he'll initiate and exchange with the mindset at hand to make you come at him. ......all the while the round already being in the bank in his favor. .......on the Mayweather side, if he's already banked a round, contrary to what Marquez does, he's going to do everything possible to stall fistic exchanges.....and he's certainly not going to initiate anything when he's already done damage in the round to warrant him already having won the round. Against Pacquiao, the strategy is likely to work...... .....I mean, how many times did Marquez competely dominate the first 2+ minutes of a round, only to have Pacquiao land a good straight left toward the last seconds of a round so that those wanting him to win could have an excuse to say, "that straight left was the hardest punch of the round?" As if one or two punches by Pacquiao toward the last minute should negate all the good work in combination flurries that Marquez had accomplished for well over 2 minutes of those rounds...... While Marquez was willing to keep fighting for the full 3 minutes, Mayweather wont.......so Pac is unlikely to have the opportunity to land anything of significance once Mayweather senses, this round is already mines. Remeber now, Mayweather could'nt care less about the entertainment of those who are paying......once the round is in the bank in his favor, thats it......he's too defensively sound to give you the opportunity to even take a peak at the round.
Wow! 2 jmm FANS agreeing on each other. Nothing much to talk about in his career except his fights with PAC. After all there is NOTHING MUCH TO TALK ABOUT JMM if you take out PAC in his resume! Unless of course you wanna HYPE Juan Diaz and CASA. I don't really blame you guys. 3 years...5 yrs....10 yrs from now, all what you could talk about is his fight with PAC! I understand, JMM is close to nobody if you take out PAC in his resume! JMM needs PAC more than PAC needs JMM. Ouch ! :|:|:|:| for uliuli once more:hi:
I have to agree on JMM resume... Not that impressive compared to Pac, MAB, Morales. Dont get me wrong Divac and UliUli, I love JMM but can you see what Im talking about?
Yeah, Morales was host to peices by the time Pac beat him. The same thing can be said about ODLH. I've been following boxing since 1995. So I know first hand that the MAB, Morales, ODLH we saw against Pac were just shells of what they once were. To me Pac is a great fighter, but vastly overrated.
