I saw the fight originally as Pacquiao outspeeding a fighter who was pretty much shot. However, looking at the fight last night, I realized that the fight was following the same pattern. From that, I don't believe that De La Hoya was as finished as people think. It was just such an unexpected dominant performance, people looked for a reason as to why it went down like that, rather than Pacquiao being outstanding. De La Hoya clearly wasn't prime but to do what Pacquiao did to an ATG fighter who wasn't shot, is exceptional.
