I don't put Dangerousity on the list of fans you would label that. That list is longer now than it was 2 months ago, but that's due to what seems to be an influx of Paclanders.

Im a ******* for stating that boxing is an entertainment business?

Clown. Complain about Pac's hype all you like but he is atleast 10* more deserving of that hype than the guys you been hyping to extreme extent put together. And I noticed your Gamboa hype train kinda slowed down a bit, I guess that one backfired a bit. I'll be laughing if/when Donaire actually does beat Mijares (although I doubt it).

Depends on how you define this era. I tend to count eras as being from when the prominant group of fighters from the preceding era are all past their prime and not as relevant. Mayweather came in at the end of an era IMO. He is retiring around the same time Hopkins, Jones, DLH, are winding down to the end. So for me, the best fighter of this era is Whitaker followed by Jones Jr. The era preceding this one was SRL's era or Duran's, depending on how you look at it.

Pernell Whitaker is not from this era, not even close imo.
    Whitaker's prime was during the 90's, we're in 2008.

I would say that Jones prime was winding down, as Mayweather was hitting his, you may be able to correlate Jones and Mayweather's era, but you can also seperate them, as Jones clearly has'nt beaten a live opponent in over a decade.

Fighters in Mayweathers era I would describe as fighters who's prime crossed Mayweathers prime.
.......Pac, JMM, Calzaghe, Hatton, even Morales and MAB......

.....you can throw in fighters like DLH and Mosely as well, although its debatable if their primes crossed Mayweathers, just as I mentioned with Jones.

.....but certainly Whitaker's prime did'nt cross Mayweather's, I would consider fighters like Whitaker and Chavez to be from the previous era for sure.

Jones hasn't beaten a live opponent in over a decade? He just won the HW title 5 years ago! He beat Tarver 4 years ago.....sorry, vehemently disagree.

You can't seperate era's based on one fighter's prime. Otherwise you will have 40 eras in boxing history. At most you can do it by decade. And Mayweather had won a title by 1998 and Jones was still in his prime at this point. Mayweather has had a 12 year career, all of which is during DLH, Hopkins, Jones, and other fighters careers. So IMO, he is in their era. Same with MAB, Pacquiao, Morales, etc. Whitaker was active and considered P4P #1 for the first 7 to 8 years of these guys careers. He belongs in this era as well, just the very beginning of it IMO.

Seperate them how you choose, that's you decision. I am comfortable with the criteria I set forth.
