Pacquiao did no strength and conditioning work before the fight?

The commentators said he just did stretching with Alex Ariza and just focused on boxing with Roach.

So?? Strength training won't make one's chin more durable against a shot like that one Marquez landed.

Pacquaio didn't know he was going up against the hardest puncher of all time at the weight.

He did his own strength and conditioning, just not Alex Ariza's I believe.

Pacquiao fought the best ive seen him fight in a long time last night

S&C could only have made it worse for him - fatigue.

    Freddie knows

If I remember right, he stopped doing proper conditioning with Ariza after the Margarito fight. I think Ariza mentioned it in a recent video interview.

I'm not talking to the TS cause he's stated that he understands that it doesn't make a difference but I wonder if this will be the official ******* excuse.

This. However he was also back to his careless self, which is why he got KO'd. You can have the aggressively quick pac, but you will sacrifice defense and some counterpunching.

Pacquaio looked unstoppable last night. He looked amazing. Marquez was getting hit **** kicked in, but who would have known that Marquez suddenly transformed into the best puncher in the history of the weight overnight?

Correct he did not follow Ariza's program. Just stretching. Apparently the Pac that mauled DLH and Cotto did do the strength and conditioning. And how does anyone know if it woulda made a difference or not? It certainly could have. Now in hind sight everybodys an expert. 99% of you thought it was impossible for Marquez to stop Pac. Now ur saying Pac S&C conditioning wouldnt have made a difference...Yall are funny

How would it be an excuse? Manny looked fantastic, fast & loose, and was clearly winning the fight (by a little) until Marquez brilliantly found that opening.

Ariza's training" only made Pac bulky stiff, slower, and prone to leg cramps. Roach finally saw through all the BS, and made the right call.

Marquez didn't win because Manny trained wrong. Marquez won because he's the better fighter.

Show me the other fighter who Pac has fought who is willing to sit down on a punch like Marquez did? No one ever has. Mayweather certainly never commits to a right hand like that. Marquez risked getting brutally knocked out every time he tried to time that monster and I remember seeing it thrown at least five times and it landed clean twice. Ronald Hearns would be knocking fools out if he threw every punch from his back pocket. People don't take the risk because they don't like getting knocked out.
