Agree on all points, man. In regards to B-Hop's statement...we agree, it's more about a STYLE than anything else. I assumed he meant that, which is why he made the contrast between Joshua Clottey, and American born, bred, fighters; because, the slick, cagey approach to the sport is what many of them (who happen to be of African descent) are taught, in the gyms of Philly, Michigan, NY, etc. He could've said that in a more P.C. way. But, he's rather crude in his approach, at times....and has a 'take it how you want', type of attitude. He's an athlete not a scholar, after all.
Their is nothing wrong with what B-Hop said. Or any other so called "racism" in boxing. These guys are paid to fight and make money off interest. If they can tap into race or country to gather a people's attention more power to them. It is when us as the fans start taking what athletes/sports entertainers as fact when things get bad.
The same fans who jump on bandwagons or can't make an objective decision for themselves are the same fans who say the truly ignorant, racist things.
Precisely, bruh. They are waiting for others to expose these guys first. Then, they step up and put Manny in there to take the challenge. Manny reminds me of Shane, in that he'd get in there with, almost, anyone. Except Shane has never been the best at making choices of opponents from a risk vs reward standpoint. Neither is Manny. This is where Manny's handlers come in. Roach knows when an opponent is "ready" for his fighter. He knows Manny's limitations, probably, better than Manny does. Arum knows how to bring in the money. Shane wouldn't be chasing these younger fighters around right now, if he'd had representation like this. Floyd exposed Hatton, then Lascano put a stamp on that (though Hatton got the 'W'). Margo exposed Cotto, Shane exposed Margo. Floyd exposed Shane. These were all feared opponents, not so long ago, in their respective divisions. But, before Manny got in there with them (well...he's not gotten in there with Shane yet), people were already questioning the state of their careers, saying they were, obviously, diminished, etc. Because, they had already been beaten so badly (some brutally) in recent fights. But, then after Manny put on great performances against these, already diminished, opponents...he's rivaling ATG's like Leonard, Duran, Ali etc. On the basis of what? The performance, the degree of difficulty, or both? :huh
It's not about what Roach or Pac said, you can say he was scared to put Pac against Shane and that Pac was also terrified. It doesn't mean anything. The fact is that Pac will face a Mosley that is one fight removed from his fight with Floyd, a fight where according to Floyd fans such as yourself, Mosley was at one of the best moments in his career. IT DOES NOT MATTER WHAT ROACH SAID. It doesn't change anything. You can say he's cherry picking now that he saw Mosley being dismantled, but hey it was just Floyd right? Just Floyd fighting a great fight and schooling Mosley, so if that's what happened, how come Roach got so brave now? It wasn't that Shane was shot, it's just Floyd's too good. Right? NO. Hell, I'M saying Mosley is shot. Yep Pac will be facing a shot Mosley. And so did Floyd. But dudes like you don't want to see the fight because if Pac wins then you'll have to say Shane is shot to not give Pac credit, but then you'll have to admit that Shane was shot vs Floyd and it wasn't that great a win! So you are in a predicament, and would rather not see the fight so you can keep saying Shane was a good win for Floyd. You don't want to see Pac beat the crap out of Shane and take away the luster from Mayweather's win.
At least this dude has the balls to face pacman unlike the other dude who likes to beat up woman and security guard na mean
Check out what this **** head said lol...:dead:rofl First Mosley was too old for Pac, then Floyd beats him, and now he is worried about what Floyd's fans will say if Pac should fight and defeat Shane:rofl. I can't wait until Pac retires so that these types of degenerates will have to post a real boxing opinion rather than this mess of jumbled up, hypocritical...elephant **** of a boxing outlook.
I'm with you NALLEGE. I figured with the Asian flair Pac gives, his fans would be better at the mathematics of logic. (just a generaliztion that should be taken as a joke)
We got a new wigger alt, sympathizing with other wiggers such as Nallege and saying blacks can't be racist. Welcome to the board Kirby, well not really, we all know you are an alt.
My name is Daniel Briggs and i go to Missouri State university where I study pre-law. I went to Nixa High School here in Missouri. I'm not a wigger and i know blacks are able to be racist. But what you are saying is racist is not. It is a historically oppressed group wanting to make sure they are accounted for
Pacman is the biggest cherrypicker in the history of boxing. Pac has ducked Humberto Soto many times. Pac has ducked Juan Diaz many times Pac has ducked Shane Mosley many times Pac has ducked Floyd Mayweather Jr many times Pac has ducked Juan Manuel Marquez (for a 3rd fight) Pac has ducked Tim Bradley Pac has ducked Michael Katsidis Pac has ducked Paul Williams Pac has ducked Edwin Valero (when he was alive) Pac has ducked Miguel Cotto (rematch) Pac's last 2 fighst were FIXED FIGHTS (vs Clottey, and vs Margarito) Pac uses EPO Steroids, ducks many challenges, and has FIXED FIGHTS. Pac is the Most Overrated/Overhyped/Milked/Hypocrite/ Boxer in the history of Boxing.
